How does not knowing if you are believing Jesus correctly equate to believing it is not necessary to believe Jesus?
Perhaps some are still in the process of working out their own salvation, with fear and trembling. <= Biblical.
How long was it after you repented and believed on the Lord Jesus before you were free of all fear and doubt?

There is something valid to the title tho which is no disrespect to anyone.
I know we can be assured we are saved and we can feel we are saved by how we are as people and how we feel inside.
But I often struggle understanding can we truly know we have our salvation.
I know we can know from what the word teaches us. But I'm talking about the final day, can we truly know that final day will come before it's come.
Yes we can in many ways from the word too
But can we take it for granted before it's come

I don't know anyone who professes to be saved that does not know that is the precious blood of Jesus that cleansed them of their sin, and made it possible for them to be called the children of God. Every Christian I have ever met knows AT LEAST one Scripture by heart, that being John 3:16.
