Been in progress for a while....roughly 2000 years . But a day here or there give or take....whose counting?
Nothing like we have seen today.

As I drive down the country side and see all the churches that are closed up, As we see the Main Street churches like here allowing sin inside their churches and giving in to the world.

Now while I do not think some of those churches were ever true churches. I think it may be what the lord was talking about would happen in the last days

I believe the next pope will be the Antichrist.
Why, is this pope not antichrist enough? Actively speaking against the nature of life and our Creators design as if it's malleable. Crazy.

There are only two ex cathedra dogmas and they both concern Mary... neither of which has any Scriptural backing.

The immaculate conception some confuse to mean Jessus' conception, but no, it concerns Mary's supposed
sinlessness which was required so Jesus could be sinless because apparently, He needed her help in this matter.

Then there is her assumption. Again, nothing in Scripture attests to this.

In fact these dogmas contradict Scripture.

But they are mandatory for the Roman Catholic to believe.
i was raised catholic, was not a smart kid but when i was 12, either God's H.S. told me or it was me thinking: "there's something wrong with this catholic religion, they tell you the same thing every year, they never teach you anything". then i found out later the catholic religion doesn't want you to know anything. this is true because they used to teach: "don't read the Bible, you could misinterpret it"! my greatness, what did they do?

Before Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire....
Christians were only 5% of the population. Jews and adherents to Judaism before that were a very small part of the population.

God has never been in it for the numbers.
According to Jesus the world already stands condemned...but He did come to seek those who belong to him and were lost.

Where society is much easier to navigate when the population seeks after righteousness...it's not going to ever remain that way.

Hey brother, just a note.

Galerius issued the Edict of Toleration in 311. This ended the systematic persecution of Christians.

Constantine called the Council of Nicaea together in 325. This served to 1) address the issue of Arianism (Christ is not divine) and to establish order in the church that mirrored the Roman government (popes, cardinals, bishops, etc).

It was actually Theodosius in 380 that made Christianity the official religion of Rome. By that time an estimated 10% of the Roman empire was Christian. That may not seem like a lot but the church represented the largest homogeneous group in the entire Empire. In effect: even though they were heavily persecuted, believers had conquered the Empire of Rome from within.

Where they went wrong is this: they took the offer from the government and agreed to represent the Empire. Yet, the church already had a mandate to represent another government: the Kingdom of God. They gave up their first, heavenly calling to take on the second, terrestrial one.

Only a renegade Jew can be the Antichrist. That is quite clear from Scripture. But a lot of people believe what you do, because they have not taken the relevant prophecies into account. Only a Jew could enter the temple, and this renegade Jews will sit in the future temple in Jerusalem and claim that he is God. Of course he will also perform many miracles to deceive both Jews and Gentiles.

Was Antiochus IV (Epiphanes), the king of Syria, a Jew? He captured Jerusalem in 167 BC and desecrated
the Temple by offering the sacrifice of a pig on an altar to Zeus (the Abomination of Desolation).

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! See Matthew 24:15 in the Olivet Discourse in 30AD. Christ spoke of the Abomination of Desolation standing in the Holy Place AS A FUTURE EVENT. And Paul said that the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition would sit in the temple of God AS A FUTURE EVENT.

So how do people allow themselves to get as confused as above? What is the gap between 167 B.C. and 2030 AD (a hypothetical year to illustrate the error about Antiochus). Current world events are bringing us very close to the reign of the Antichrist in the future.

Was Antiochus a Jew or not??? You failed to answer the pertinent question.

Since you said only a Jew could enter the temple, I assume you refuse to answer because it would show how confused you are!

Only a Jew could enter the temple

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! again! Antiochus was NOT a Jew. He was a Seleucid, and this was their religion: "Olympianism / Hellenism Babylonian religion Hellenistic Judaism Zoroastrianism Hinduism Buddhism Local beliefs".

So now you are really struggling to justify your false notions.

You really ARE confused to think I was the one who said only a Jew could enter the temple.

Though it is doubtful you will admit you are wrong.

Only a Jew could enter the temple
Even though it can be plainly seen by all that you were the one who said it.

Therefore it is also you who are "Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! again!" LOL

Answer me this about THIS scripture you just used. He says "15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."

2 things, first thing is the temple. This is described as "a Holy place", which to me and most everyone take to mean Gods temple correct? Well in order to be a "Holy place" that would mean it HAS to be build by Gods will. The first two temples God commanded the Jews to build. This is not a question. If this is Gods pattern then when did He ever command another to be built. If He didn't command it built then any temple built will just be a man temple built by and for men? Therefore NOT Holy. The second part of this points to the fact this already took place exactly how Jesus said it would, brick off brick, in THAT generation exactly like He said. Go back to this 2nd half of the verse "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."

He is talking to these people in this area. All this is talking about a coming judgement in a specific time frame in a very specific place. To try to read us into this scripture in 2023 as if He was talking to us is a horrible way to handle the text.

Yup, I'd go so far as to say he's a false prophet, but not necessarily THE false prophet described in the Revelation.
There are virtually hundreds of false prophets today masquerading as messengers of The LORD.. So the problem for followers of Jesus in identifying the actual end times false prophet is the vast oversupply of candidates..

That dress the pope wears is starting to make sense.....just kidding, the catholic church has had basic doctrinal blasphemies all over since practically forever, I'm almost surprised it took this long for this to come out.

I'll bet their favorite dress is the lavender/ pink with the hat beanie to accent their wardrobe.

15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7

38And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, 39And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: 40Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
Mark 12
