Right in the Ten Commandments that God personally wrote and personally spoke Exo 31:18 Exo 32:16 He defines this unit of Ten Deut 4:13 Exo 34:28 as "My commandments" the "My" part is God so God named them right in the Ten. Exo 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. i.e. commandments of God.

Jesus quotes directly from this same unit of Ten calling it the commandment of God and also interchangeably calling it the Word of God- see Mark 7. Lets take a look. . .

Matthew 15:3 He (Jesus) answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’;

What did Jesus just quote from- the Ten Commandments Exo 20:12 calling them the commandment of God- did Jesus misspeak?

and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— 6 then he need not honor his father [a]or mother.’ Thus you have made the [b]commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

He goes on to say....when we keep our rules over the commandment of God our hearts are far from Him (opposite of the NC Heb 8:10) and one worships in vain...

8 ‘These people [c]draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
9 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”

This is the fruit of the saints according to scripture (true worship):

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

And if you don't trust His commandments are not from the Ten it spells it out for us, the last chapter in the bible once of the last verses before the Coming of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers (Breaking commandment #1 Exodus 20:3) and sexually immoral (breaking commandment #7 Exodus 20:14) and murderers (breaking commandment #6 Exodus 20:13) and idolaters (breaking commandment #2 Exodus 20:4-6), and whoever loves and practices a lie (breaking # 9 Exodus 20:16 or any of them 1 John 2:4, James 2:10-12 Mat 5:19-30)

Our salvation is from sin, sin it the transgression of God's law 1 John 3:4 Romans 7:7 Mat 5:19-30

There is a real spiritual war going on with our souls. The devil goes to war with those who keep the commandments of God Rev 12:17 just curious does it ever bother anyone why this much contempt for something God wrote, and God spoke, and He is perfect therefore His law is perfect Psa 19:17. Its sad the moral decline we have come as a nation to have this much contempt for something so pure written personally from God. Jesus condemned those who kept their rules over the commandments of God quoting from the Ten Commandments. Mat 15:3-9 I wonder if anyone ever takes a step back to reflect which side, they really are on. Scripture warns us when we go away form the truth one will receive strong delusion. God says all His commandments are Truth Psa 119:151 and when we don't keep the commandments there is no truth in us 1 John 2:4. It seems so obvious to me we should obey God the way He asks, the example Jesus left, 1 John 2:6 Hebrews 4:15 1 Peter 2:21-22 how He lived John 15:10 Luke 4:16 what He taught Mat 5:17-30 Mat 15:3-9 Mat 19:17-19 John 15:10 John 14:15 Exo 20:6, Jesus would never lead us down the wrong path only teaching us what leads to reconciliation Rev 22:14

We are not saved by law keeping, we are saved by grace through faith. Keeping God's law is a result of faith.

The 10 commandments under pin New Testament church service. But the keeping of them OT style has been superceded.

You've only gotta look back your last week and see some you broke.

It's impossible to keep them perfectly.

But we can be mature in the faith and keep getting back up by God's grace in our walks.

But that main thing is..our service to God is New Testament service in a NT local church .

Curious if you have ever read the teachings of Jesus in the NT because what you’re teaching here is not what He taught. Jesus came to magnify His law Isa 42:21, which means make greater not lesser and He gave an example of this right from the Ten Commandments warning us not to break the least of these or teach others to break.

Jesus in His own Words is giving light and understanding to the Ten Commandments as many people only read them at face value and do not understand the magnitude of His holy and perfect law. Because many do not want to come to the light (truth) but would rather live in darkness as they do not have a love for the Truth and all of God's commandments are Truth Psa 119:151

This is a very important principle Jesus is applying to the 10 commandments and gave two as an example and it is how we are to live by the Spirit, not the letter, which is greater than the letter, not lesser.

Jesus is applying the Ten Commandments to our thoughts and feelings as this is where sin (Rom 7:7) starts, and He gives an example of two of them directly quoting from the Ten. This is an example of living the law written in our hearts and minds (NC) giving an example from two commandments but says not to break or teach others to break the least of these commandments, which means we are to keep all and apply this teaching/principle to all Mat 5:19. No where is Jesus telling us we can break the letter of the commandments- He makes this clear not one dot of an i can be changed.

Matthew 5:21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.

What Jesus is teaching here, that we need to change our thoughts before they turn into actions. If we change our thoughts and feelings of contempt and anger toward our neighbor to love and compassion, thou shalt not murder would automatically be kept. Jesus is not teaching its okay to murder as long as we don't have anger. This is just one of His teachings and clearly Jesus is not doing away or changing His law. No one dot or i can be changed to His law hence why He said not to break or teach others to break the least of the commandments. The one commandment God said Remember and He blessed and made holy does not sound like a least commandment, but even so, Jesus said not to break as we would be least in heaven i.e. lost.

For me that's a red fag even when I do it. Its the "what Jesus is teaching here" "what Jesus is really saying". Its no longer Christ telling us its some believer telling us what they personally understand. Then were are they in their walk? Still a babe or are they eating meat? See for me Matt-John was He talking to Christians/Church? No He was talking to Jews all with Christ living by and under the Law 613.

We add things to what He never said as in "if you love me keep my words/commands". What gets added is "if you don't your lost". Odd because were they saved years before He said this? Did He not at the start tell them "don't rejoice that the demons are subject unto you but that your names "are" written in heaven". What gets anyone in the door is knowing believing in Yeshua/Jesus Christ. Its very simple. OT NT anyone that calls on the name of the lord shall be saved/delivered.

All man has His laws today written on their hearts its why the sinner knows its wrong to steal to cheat. Still slaves to sin but we are not. He died we died He rose we rose sin has no hold on us any more. Lets not making harder when it never was. He yoke is easy His burden is light

The Words of Jesus are not hard to understand, we really do not need to reinterpret them for Him and there is no scripture that says we are saved in our sins. Jesus did not teach just how the Jews are to live, He taught to be OUR example to follow 1 John 2:6

But the way of salvation is not in continuous keeping of commands... because God's standard of law keeping is perfection. Jesus does teach us to follow His commandments..

But that is powered by His grace and payment for our sins. It is impossible to keep the commands perfectly.

John 3:16, 3:36, 5:25, 6:40, etc

Romans 5:8

Ephesians 2 Vs 8-9

Jesus does want us to follow Him by His commands..but it is powered by Him and His grace.

When was the last time you stoned someone to death?

How many people have you killed in this way, by keeping the law?
“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.

And the LORD said unto Moses,

The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭15:32, 35-36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

…And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices By the space of forty years in the wilderness? Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Figures which ye made to worship them: And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

……Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. ….who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:38, 41-43, 51, 53‬ ‭

“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:16-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we see the lord on the gospel in tbe ot it’s gods word and the angels disposition who won’t forgive Jesus is like the gospel tells us he forgives sin he pardons sin he saves the condemned

not like the angel who god said will not pardon sin who was given rule over Israel after they worshipped the calf and Moses saved them all by interceding

“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Right in the Ten Commandments that God personally wrote and personally spoke Exo 31:18 Exo 32:16 He defines this unit of Ten Deut 4:13 Exo 34:28 as "My commandments" the "My" part is God so God named them right in the Ten. Exo 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. i.e. commandments of God.

and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— 6 then he need not honor his father [a]or mother.’ Thus you have made the [b]commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

Our salvation is from sin, sin it the transgression of God's law 1 John 3:4 Romans 7:7 Mat 5:19-30

There is a real spiritual war going on with our souls. The devil goes to war with those who keep the commandments of God Rev 12:17 just curious does it ever bother anyone why this much contempt for something God wrote, and God spoke, and He is perfect therefore His law is perfect Psa 19:17. It's sad the moral decline we have come as a nation to have this much contempt for something so pure written personally from God.
In Exodus 20:7, it changes from God speaking in the first person to speaking about God in the third person, so arguably God only spoke the first two Commandments at that time, though all of God's commandments are God's commandments regardless of whether God spoke them, wrote them, or instructed Moses to write them, so it is not the case that only the Ten Commandments are God's commandments. In Deuteronomy 5:31-33, Moses wrote down everything that God commanded him without departing form it, and the Law of Moses is referred to as the Law of God in verses like Nehemiah 8:1-8, Ezra 7:6-12, and Luke 2:22-23, God's commandments are inclusive of the Law of Moses. This means that if a verse speaking about God's commandments does not specifically that it is only speaking about a specific subset of God's commandments, then it inclusive of all of the Law of Moses. For example, Jesus did not set an example for us to follow of just how to obey the Ten Commandments, but of how to obey the Mosaic Law.

We are not saved by law keeping, we are saved by grace through faith. Keeping God's law is a result of faith.
In Psalms 119:29-30, he wanted to put false ways far from him, for God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey the Mosaic Law, and he chose the way of faith by setting it before him, so this has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith.

All of God's righteous laws are eternal (Psalms 119:160), so they will never become superseded. The Mosaic Law came with instructions for what to do when His people did not keep it perfectly, so it never required us to do that.

So do you believe that the way to follow Christ is by refusing to follow everything he taught during his ministry and by following what he did not teach to follow? In the Great Commission, Jesus instructed them to make disciples of all nations, teach everything that he taught them, not that the nations should disregard what he taught.

It's very simple. OT NT anyone that calls on the name of the lord shall be saved/delivered.
The Mosaic Law is God's word and Jesus is God's word made flesh, so the way to know the one who is the embodiment of God's word is by us embodying God's word through following his example, not by rejecting his example as only being for Jews.

All man has His laws today written on their hearts its why the sinner knows its wrong to steal to cheat. Still slaves to sin but we are not. He died we died He rose we rose sin has no hold on us any more. Lets not making harder when it never was. He yoke is easy His burden is light
In Jeremiah 31:33, the New Covenant involves God putting the Mosaic Law in our minds and writing it on hearts, and in Matthew 11:28-30, this a yoke that is way and a burden that is light. Moreover, by Jesus saying that we would find rest for our souls, he was referencing Jeremiah 6:16-19, where the Mosaic Law is described as the good way where we will find was for our souls.

In Psalms 119:29-30, he wanted to put false ways far from him, for God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey the Mosaic Law, and he chose the way of faith by setting it before him, so this has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith.
If we were to just read this would it carry any weight about the subject ?

“But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What if we just kept reading to see what they concluded ? And sent to the churches ….Would it matter at all or onfluence what we’re willing to think ?

there’s a huge debate and they ( the chosen and annointed apostles of Jesus all filled with thee holy ghost ) come to this conclusion

“and they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Not only is it not part of Christianity it’s actually a detriment and subversion to someone to try to put the same yoke back on them that doomed all sinners to begin with …Jesus is our yoke and the gospel his law

…this doesn’t save it condemns

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this saves those who were condemned

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭

Jesus wasn’t preaching Moses law it’s why he was teaching the opposite …..”get divorced for any reason and your free to remarry “said Moses …..no don’t get divorced but for the cause of fornication and elsewise remarriage is itself adultery “

If I were to keep Moses law it would mean I’m free to divorce my wife just by deciding she’s not what I want I found some flaws then I could get a divorce and remarry and so could she

That’s what Moses taught Jesus said to do that would be adultery here’s what Moses law says

“When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

here’s what Jesus our lord said about it

“And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.

And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

…….And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:2-5, 11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

in no way are these two things same they weren’t meant to be one is for sinners with no Holy Spirit the other is for born again children of God who have been forgiven and are being taught the truth of God

I mean go ahead and get divorced if you want and remarry

v

only divorce for adultery and remarriage in any other case would be adultery by either party

There’s no way to say both of those are one they are contrary to obey what Moses said would be adultery according to Jesus

The law is for these people

“knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The gospel is for these people

“And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:25‬ ‭

“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38, 46-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

moses would never and did never teach anything like what jesus taught

Moses

“And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: but I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:38-39‬ ‭

again I can’t take revenge and also turn the other cheek it’s opposite one is mercy driven one is condemnation driven “get the sinner who sins “ v save e sinners who have sinned bring them to repentance teach them the truth …..

We can’t obey the law of Moses and the gospel it’s contrary

We are not saved by law keeping, we are saved by grace through faith. Keeping God's law is a result of faith.
But you forgot all about the commandments of Christ. Actually you have no clue about these matters. "Keeping God's law" would mean strict adherence to all 613 commandments (if that number is accurate). And since the temple does not exist in Jerusalem, you could not possibly keep all of God's Law. But for Christians keeping God's law means observing the Law of Love.

@SabbathBlessing Who has bewitched you?

1O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?
5Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— 6just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 7Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

When was the last time you stoned someone to death?

How many people have you killed in this way, by keeping the law?
Jesus Yeshua teaches that a law must contain mercy, ergo it must not be applied, stoning that is.

So many think when a person purports the law is yet extant, stoning would be included. Read and know the law according to Jesus Yeshua's teaching. All who are made anew should not need to, because it has been written upon their hearts. I know that the commandment to Love God with all our hearts should fulfill all of the law. Why do not all understand this?

Right in the Ten Commandments that God personally wrote and personally spoke Exo 31:18 Exo 32:16 He defines this unit of Ten Deut 4:13 Exo 34:28 as "My commandments" the "My" part is God so God named them right in the Ten. Exo 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. i.e. commandments of God.

Jesus quotes directly from this same unit of Ten calling it the commandment of God and also interchangeably calling it the Word of God- see Mark 7. Lets take a look. . .

Matthew 15:3 He (Jesus) answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’;

1 Thess. 5:19~~Do not quench the Spirit,

Eph 4:30~~Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Eph 5:18~~And do not get drunk with wine, in which there is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

Gal 5:16~~But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

Rom 8~~ 4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

No, God spoke and God wrote all of the Ten Commandments alone by His finger on stone Exo 31:18 Exo 32:16 Deut 4:13 Exo 34:28 and added no more...Deut 5:22

Exodus 20 And God spoke all these words, saying:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of [a]bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor [b]serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting[c] the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
13 “You shall not murder.
14 “You shall not commit adultery.
15 “You shall not steal.
16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

I believe you might misunderstand what I am saying. The way of salvation is not law keeping, if it were, we could save ourselves, but we can't, we are saved only by the blood of Christ though faith. Keeping God's law is a result of faith. Those in Christ are keeping God's law, it's the carnal mind that has not been changed by Jesus that is hostile to God's law as they do not walk in faith, but in sin. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Jesus came to save us from our sins, Mat 1:21, not in sin. Through Jesus He wants to change us from the inside out and as He taught not only is it a sin to break the least of the Ten Commandments and gives two as an example, He applies it to our thoughts and feelings and doesn't even want us to think about sinning (breaking God's law) as we would be in fear of sin and judgement. Mat 5:19-30

While it may be hard to overcome sin, all things are possible through Christ. The Ten Commandments are like a mirror, they show us our sins Romans 3:20 Romans 7:7 so we don't cover them as covering them is dangerous because if we do not see our sin we won't see our need for Jesus to help us to forgive and forsake when we repent and confess and therefore won't receive His mercy and grace. Proverbs 28:13 1 John 1:9

The devil has deceived the whole world and is teaching churches through pastors and priests you can break God's Ten Commandments, they were nailed to the cross, but if read carefully one would clearly see that isn't the case. The law that defines sin Romans 7:7 Matthew 5:19:30 that Jesus tells us not to break or teach others to break the least of these as it will affect our status in heaven and will be in fear of judgement and sin so we should believe His teachings over mans.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

One of the last verses in the bible before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. Compare this to the very next verse v15

The path is narrow and few find it because they believe man over the very Words of Jesus Mat 15:3-9 Mark 7:7-8 Mat 5:19-30 John 14:15 John 15:10 who came not only to take the penalty of sin, but came to be our example of how to live who kept the Sabbath and all of God's commandments. Follow Him, He will lead us back to Him for eternity!

Love is the basis for the commandments, God said that right in the Ten Commandments Exodus 20:6 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

So if we love God we are only going to worship Him, not bow to idols, use His name only in a holy way and not profane His holy Sabbath.
If we love man- we would honor our mother and father, not murder or commit adulty, not steal, lie, or covet

The summary does not delete the details

1 John 5: 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith

Those with faith uphold God's law Romans 3:31

We need the same faith of Jesus who kept all of the commandments as our example and teaches us not to break the least of them as we would be in fear of sin and Judgement Mat 5:19-30

How to we have the faith of Jesus not do not have faith in His very own teachings?

Rev 22:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
