Israel uncovers tunnel under hospital

Israel has uncovered the sophisticated tunnel and command complex under the Shifa hospital. Hamas, of course, claims that it does not exist. Of course, it is possible that the Israelis secretly made the tunnel and the command centre in the last few days to make Hamas look bad.

IDF Arrests Director of Shifa Hospital over Evidence of Terror at Facility
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) arrested Mohammad Abu Salmiya, the director of the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, in connection with an ongoing terror investigation, as he attempted to evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip along a humanitarian corridor.

In recent days, the IDF uncovered the terror tunnels beneath the hospital, which had tapped into the hospital’s own electricity and water supplies. The IDF also concluded that soldier Noa Marciano, who was taken captive by the Palestinian Hamas terror organization on October 7, had been murdered in the hospital.

The IDF also discovered surveillance footage of other hostages being moved through the hospital by armed Hamas terrorists on the day that they were abducted from Israel during the attack. And the IDF had uncovered weapons stored within the hospital

The invasion of Gaza has been long overdue. But Hamas gave Israel every reason not only to invade Gaza but to destroy everything that has allowed the terrorists to do their dastardly deeds. However, in the end it is Joe Biden and the evil mullahs of Iran who should be targeted by Israel. Joe Biden should be arrested by Israel's intelligence agents and tried for crimes against humanity and Jews. He has been allowed free rein for too long.

It's not just Biden. The whole world wants to hamstring the IDF. My hope and prayer is that this will backfire on Hamas and the IDF will finish the job it started.

The initial tunnel was built by Israel in 1983. They have admitted to this during an interview.

Who is "they"? According to what I've read, the first tunnels were for smuggling goods into Gaza. Israel discovered them in 1983, they did not make them. And it is the use of the tunnels that matters, not that they exist.

Ehud Barak admits the tunnel was built in 1983 by Israeli engineers, it is on the public record.

As well, no proof as per usual that it was being used as a major command center, it was down graded to a node.
I guess that will ease the minds of the dead babies whose incubators were detached.

Thank you for providing the source of the quote. I've seen an in depth analysis of the tunnels and space by a military expert. It for sure was not used as an adjunct to the hospital's functioning. It could have been used as a command centre or holding space for hostages. Or both. And no matter what, it is a part of the Hamas terror tunnel network. There is video of hostages being taken to the hospital Where did they end up?

Perhaps you would be happier if Hamas was left alone to murder Israeli babies? Perhaps you don't know that two men accused of spying for Israel were murdered and their bodies desecrated by West Bank Palestinians. And the world demands that Israel hand over territory to these psychopaths. Meanwhile, much of world throws away premature babies as if they were a bit of rag.

Israel did build the tunnels under the hospital originally for legitimate reasons of equipment, access to running utility lines and etc.

But Hamas has used these for nefarious purposes including as a command post for terrorism and hiding hostages.
