Thanks but when these things are being based on something I don't know of anyone that says it believes it. It shows WE don't know Him like we think we do. His grace His mercy His forgiveness His countless.. so many things and oh His love. We don't think like Him and praise GOD He is not a man. It shows no offense but WE do not understand what happened on the cross. We keep looking at this moment in time as if that's all God looks at. Falling away is not based on what some "Christians" tell us it is. From what I read and I can be wrong but to fall away to go back to sin and not have ever lasting life would you not have to reject Christ dying for you, you would have to be like one the of 12 (with Paul). To know to have seen. There are things we all read in the NT where you ask "how do they know that?". They KNOW Him. No one here knows Him like that. So to then reject all Christ did every thing you have seen of Him by Him the powers of the age to come to then want the world knowing not guessing you know He is real sitting by the Father you know of every lasting life and leave it. Well like Satan. He knew God in all His power and glory and freely left. There is no coming back.. there is nothing to come back to. Now us? We know nothing of GOD in all His glory and power and heaven and.. on and on. We were born into sin that is what we know.

God by His sweet sweet holy Spirit has never ever questioned me about this. Only when He first found me did the enemy come in and talk just like this. That simple sin I forgot to repent of or still walking in sin right after saved..doom DOOMED! So for me.. you can keep your OSAS and you can lose your salvation. Not thoughts I ever get. Oh praise GOD GLORY GLORY GLORY TO Christ we get no say in this what so every but you will we will have to answer to HIM for those weak in the faith that we have added fear worry to the faith they never had before. Lol that part will go nowhere

God can do as He please, but He has said rebels are not welcome to the kingdom
So the OSAS

peoples be on the outsides looking in!

Can you name me one believer who does not struggle with sin?
This is about the OSAS peoples (like Gnarly Charlie Stanley) who claim one can continue living in sin and still be saved. So, some don't struggle with sin anymore at all... they just continue living in whatever their favorite sin was before they got saved.

Those doing this will not be speeding eternity with the Lord!

Why don’t you believe and trust Jesus Christ, and the indwelling Holy Spirit to keep you saved?
You believe that if a Christian "falls" in to sin.... it's the Lord's fault for not keeping them out of sin?

You embrace the idea that man kind has no responsibility to abide in Christ... as Jesus speaks of in John 15? That's too bad for you!

John 10:28-29

New King James Version
28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch themout of My Father’s hand.
This is ONLY applicable to them that....

John 10:27
My sheep
hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:28-29 is NOT applicable to those that don't hear His voice and continue to follow Him.

In other words... there are conditions to John 10:28-29 that you have conveniently overlooked.

John 18:9

New King James Version
9 that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, “Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none.”
Mis-quoting the Lord... again!

John 18:9
That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

Jesus is speaking of the 12 disciples here

There is no need to explain any of this. You must focus on God's salvation and what it means. Period.
The OSAS peoples are spreading false doctrines... these issues should be discussed from the view point of the whole counsel of God... and not from the view point of those suffering from acute Cherry Pickers Syndrome (CPS) which is the malady the OSAS peoples suffer from.

but but but...so many do not believe everything in scripture
That's how the OSAS peoples got on the wrong track... the one that leads people away from the Lord!

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

IF… OSAS was true, 2 Corinthians 13:5 would not be in God’s Word!

Do you believe we have any Christian Essentials from Jesus Christ which are absolutely unnecessary and, if so, which ones?
Don’t drag your silly petulance into yet another thread. You wouldn’t explain yourself in the thread you started; don’t pollute any others.

You should stop trampling on the Blood of Christ with your works and obedience to keep you saved doctrine.

There is no longer any sacrifice for those that continue to do this.

Are you also a member of the Christianity Board who goes by the avatar name, "Big Boy Johnson?" He just asked the same question in exactly the same manner, font size, color and italics on the Christianity Board and he has the same purpose as you, "relentlessly attack OSAS and believers in the OSAS camp."

OSAS is not in question here. The test is to see whether or not their faith is genuine. Paul did not say "still" in the faith or "no longer" in the faith. Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. There are genuine Christians and there are "nominal" Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers.

The “joke” is thinking that your works and obedience keeps you saved.

Can’t think of anything more offensive to God.

Those dudes that continued to sacrifice bulls and goats, are the same as those that continue to keep themselves saved through their works and obedience.

THAT’S , what Hebrews 10 is all about. Hearing the knowledge of the truth and continuing to sin by sacrificing bulls and goats. Thereby trampling on Christs Blood. And insulting the Spirit of Grace.

Unless you think you have NEVER willfully sinned after hearing the knowledge of the truth?

And again...

Galatians 3
1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
