God's Grace is Sufficient.

Why does God the Father allow people to choose to practice sin and choose to believe in error at their own peril?

God wrote us a letter of instruction called the Bible. The thing is, some folks choose not to read it.

1 John 1:6-10
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us [1 John 1:8] 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Would you force someone to love you?

Would that really be love?

People choose to be with who they love, and they choose to do what they love...and some will be condemned for their choices.

John 3:19-21

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

Hello again ByTheGraceOfGod, that passage is a great one, one that I am happily very familiar with. The problem is that I don't understand how you are relating 1 John 1:6-10 to what I said in my last post, nor do I understand the point(s) that you are trying to make to me by posting that passage in this case, so please elaborate a bit and help me understand.

If someone chooses to sin, God doesn't always stop them from committing certain sins.

While it's abundantly clear that God doesn't want us to sin, and that He provides us with a number of different ways to avoid/resist/escape the temptations to sin that we face everyday .. e.g. 1 Corinthians 10:13; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Ephesians 6:10-17, does the Bible also tell us that He goes even farther than that by stepping in and interfering with our free will choices to literally prevent us from sinning

He made us free we aren’t robots or puppets he made man able to take on information and choose between life and death good and evil

He isnt a dictator he created man inherantly with choice upon earth it’s a good thing to have freedom
