We who are in Christ have been released from the Law.

Yes the new covenant is a better covenant. True.

Here are the only references to a new covenant in the Bible.

Jeremiah 31:31 NASB20 - "Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,

Luke 22:20 NASB20 - And in the same way [He took] the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.

1 Corinthians 11:25 NASB20 - In the same way [He] also [took] the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink [it,] in remembrance of Me."

2 Corinthians 3:6 NASB20 - who also made us adequate [as] servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Hebrews 8:8, 13 NASB20 - For in finding fault with the people, He says, "BEHOLD, DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL BRING ABOUT A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND THE HOUSE OF JUDAH, ... When He said, "A new [covenant,]" He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is about to disappear.

Hebrews 9:15 NASB20 - For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the violations that were [committed] under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Hebrews 12:24 NASB20 - and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than [the blood] of Abel.

It does not say grafted into the new covenant though, and not into Israel, but into the root.

the old covenant is what Moses said to the people as mediator , the new covenant is what Jesus said to the people as mediator the words of the mediator define the covenant

This is the new covenant established by the lord and sent to every person on earth until the end of time anyone who believes will be saved

The gospel Jesus sent to all creatires is all there is for salvstion it won’t change or end until the world does

This is the lord and his doctrine until the end

he’ll never change and no more can be offered to save mankind but what’s offered in the one and only gospel there is no word of life without the words of Christ not blood but his blood shed in the gospel there’s no other mediator between God and man but the lord , no other doctrine but his doctrine no other covenant but the one Jesus spoke and then sealed with his suffering and bloodshed

Moses words were a covenwnt beteeen God and Israel Jesus words are a covenant between God and the world because israel rejected and crucified him

I am not sure about your response.

For example, the gospel is different from the new covenant. The gospel is about salvation. The new covenant is about God's instruction on hearts and minds. It was given to Israel. But the gospel is for the world. Israel and the Gentiles alike.

In the proceeded verses in Romans 6:19-23, we are no longer to present ourselves as slaves to impurity, lawlessness, and sin, but are now to present ourselves as slaves to God and to righteousness leading to sanctification, and the goal of sanctification is eternal life in Christ, which is the gift of God, so obedience to the Law of God is the content of His gift of eternal life, and Romans 7:1-6 should not be interpreted as God removing His gift of eternal life. In Romans 7:1-6, there is no point where the woman was set free from needing to obey the Law of God and if she were to get remarried after the death of her first husband, then she would still be required to refrain from committing adultery, so there is nothing that leads to the conclusion in verse 4 that in the same way we have been set free from the Law of God. It should not make sense to think that we need to reject God's word in order to become joined with God's word made flesh, but rather God's word is His instructions for how to be joined with him.

In Romans 7:22-23, Paul delighted in obeying the Law of God, but contrasted that with the law of sin, which held him captive. So verses that we interpret as referring to the Law of God should make sense for it to be referring to something that Paul slighted in doing. For example, in Romans 7:5, it would be absurd to think that Paul delighted in stirring up sinful passions in order to bear fruit unto death, but rather it is the law of sin that does that. Likewise, in Romans 7:6, it would be absurd to think that Paul delighted in being held captive to sin, but rather it is the law of sin that he described as holding him captive. In Romans 7:7, the Law of God is not sinful, but is how we know what sin is, and when our sin is revealed, then that leads us to repent and causes sin to decrease, however, the law of sin stirs up sinful passions in order to bear fruit unto death, so it is sinful and causes sin to increase. So verses that refer to a law that is sinful, that causes sin to increase, or that hinders us from obeying the Law of God should be interpreted as referring to the law of sin rather than to the Law of God, such as Romans 5:20, Romans 6:14, Galatian 2:19, Galatians 5:16-18, and 1 Corinthians 15:56.

The Bible says a person led by the Spirit is not under the law.

The Bible says a person led by the Spirit will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, for they have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts, and show the ways of the Spirit, and not the flesh.

And God will give them an escape from temptation so they can bear it.

So a person led by the Spirit will not sin.

A person led by the Spirit is not under the law because they are not sinning therefore the law cannot touch them for prosecution.

If they sin they are back under the law until they do not want the sin anymore and are led by the Spirit which they are not under the law.

God knows the heart whether a person is sincere or not for some people repent of the sin when they do it, but do not let go of the sin.

The Bible says some people have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth for they hold on to sin, and believe they are right with God.

These people are under the law.

The Spirit is God, so the Law of God is the Law of the Spirit, so by interpreting Galatians 5:16-18 as referring to the Law of God, you are saying that those who are led by the Spirit are not under the Law of the Spirit, which is contradictory. Moreover, in Galatians 5:19-23, everything listed as works of the flesh that are against the Spirit are also against the Law of God while all of the fruits of the Spirit are aspects of God's nature that are in accordance with it. In addition, in Ezekiel 36:26-27, the Spirit has the role of leading us to obey the Law of God, and in Romans 8:4-7, those who walk in the Spirit are contrasted with those who have minds set on the flesh who are enemies of God who refuse to submit to the Law of God.

Paul spoke about multiple categories of law other than the Law of God, so it is important to correctly identify which law he was referring to us as not being under. For example, in Romans 7:25-8:2, he contrasted the Law of God with the law of sin and contrasted the Law of the Spirit of Life with the law of sin and death, again he equated the Law of God with the Law of the Spirit of Life. The desires of the flesh causing us not to do the good that we want to do matches Paul's description of the law of sin in Romans 7, so that is the law that we are not under while we are led by the Spirit.

Likewise, in 2 Timothy 3:1-9, everything that Paul spoke against was against the Law of God, so I don't see any room for you to turn that around and try to say that it is speaking about those who are under the Law of God. It says that those who oppose the truth and are disqualified in their faith, and in Psalms 119:142, the Law of God is truth. In 2 Timothy 3:15-17, everything spoken by God is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness that the man of God may be throughly equipped to do every good work, so again, I don't see any room for you to turn this around by suggesting that Paul was speaking against those who are under what God has spoken.

Released from the law. Or released from the condemnation of the law.

No law = no sin
Which means no need for freedom from sin, no guilt, no death,
We are all sinners so the law is still holding us guilty today.

We can be released from the condemnation of the law, (sin), by the blood of Jesus. By grace through faith.

The law that defines sin has not changed.
All are released in the same way. By faith.
