Your guess is as good as mine. Mama went to visit our daughter this afternoon. I'm pretty sure that she will stop by the deli on the way home.

I've mastered Pho enough that it is 'easy', so we'll be having that for weeks now.

Fried chicken from our deli. Jeff 2 thighs and a leg, and Janice a breast with mashed potatoes & gravy. Their chicken is really good cheaper than KFC. $5 for 4 pieces of chicken mentioned above, and both the mashed potatoes & gravy were $5 total. We shop at at Sun Fresh grocery store.

Today is a day off work for me, and I have a chiro appt. in a while, which I will follow-up with grocery shopping, at which
time I will likely buy some chicken tenders and fries for dinner. Actually I haven't eaten yet today, so it will be brupper LOL.

Praying for your Chiro appt all goes well. :love: Enjoy your day off when you finally get home. We did our grocery shopping yesterday.

Thank you, and yes, it did! I am sort of on monthly maintenance .:unsure::giggle:. But I missed last month
while being at my daughters' place for a few weeks looking after her three cats... which is quite a
juggling act with their different feeding times, med needs, and keeping them separate from my own :cool:

Wow, it really seems like groceries are about $45.00 a bag now. I still remember under $10.00
.:unsure::whistle::geek:

My chicken tenders are in the oven warming up with the tater wedges .:D

Tonight we had dirty rice with ground sausage for the meat.
What is dirty rice? .:unsure::giggle:

I had the last of my chicken tenders and potato wedges for dinner.

I took some croissant style sweet treats in to work yesterday to share
with my work mates, and have one left over for a before bed snack

What is dirty rice? .:unsure::giggle:
Dirty rice is a traditional Louisiana Creole dish made from white rice which gets a "dirty" color from being cooked with small pieces of pork, beef or chicken, green bell pepper, celery, and onion, and spiced with cayenne and black pepper.

I was introduced to dirty rice at potlucks. I didn't immediately learn the name of the dish but discovered that I liked it. It does look like dirty rice, and is quite tasty.

The other night I fried up some medium ground beef with onions, which I mixed with
Aylmer Accents Garlic & Olive Oil Diced Tomatoes, added more garlic powder and Italian
seasoning, which I blended a good helping of sour cream into before mixing into cooked
macaroni. Tonight's dinner was the third and last meal of it

i had these pork chops my husband bought. i sliced a couple of apples and put them in the bottom of the slow cooker, browned and seasoned the chops, placed them on the apples. it didn't look right, so i made some stuffing and dropped spoonsful on the chops.

we'll see :sneaky:
