No.

Did Yahveh appear to Abraham or Abram?

Etc...

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

John 17:5 NASB20 - "And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.
Ok, thank you for your time. I'm going to look up a good recipe for orange curd.
Take care.

I have no idea what that means.

But you said that you wanted to leave so okay.
I know that I am saved and so I will be resurrected along with Abraham and Sarah.

Hebrews 11
13 All these people died in faith, without having received the things they were promised. However, they saw them and welcomed them from afar. And they acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.

14 Now those who say such things show that they are seeking a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

I believe that Jesus fulfilled the Law. I believe He died and either put an end to the Law or purchased forgiveness for us. I don't know if we are to observe the Law. I am a Gentile, so I am not supposed to. But Paul wrote in Romans 7 that we are to be married to Jesus not the Law.
Jesus put an end to the Sting of the law which is the death penalty linked to it as shown in the Old Testament. For those who believe and trust in Him, that is..

If you feel like doing the law then do it... But NEVER think that your success at doing the law earns for you eternal life with The LORD Jesus in His perfect eternal existence.. We obtain our place with Jesus by believing Jesus and by trusting in what Jesus did to pay the penalty of our transgressions..

So if you think it is good to not eat pork.. make your attempt to avoid pork eating.. But never think if you wind up eating some pork that you eternal place with the LORD Jesus is lost..

But know that the Law is mostly about loving God and loving your neighbor.. So the Law thou shalt not steal is linked to loving your neighbor because it is not loving to steal from your neighbor.. Nor is it loving to kill your neighbor or commit adultery with your neighbors wife / husband..

We get ""married " to the LORD Jesus when we believe His teachings and we Trust in the Atonement He secured for our salvation..

Hebrews 9 HNV

1 Now indeed even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and an earthly sanctuary. 2 For a tabernacle was prepared. In the first part were the lamp stand, the table, and the show bread, which is called the Holy Place. 3 After the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies, 4 having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; 5 and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can’t speak now in detail.
6 Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services, 7 but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the errors of the people. 8 The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing. 9 This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect, 10 being only (with foods and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.
11 But Messiah having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, 12 nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Messiah, Who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without defect to EL, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living EL? 15 For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. 16 For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of Him who made it. 17 For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while Hhe who made it lives. 18 Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood. 19 For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Torah, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, 20 saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which EL has commanded you.”*
21 He sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood. 22 According to the Torah, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
23 It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Messiah hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of EL for us; 25 nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own, 26 or else He must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, He has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment, 28 so Messiah also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him.

Yep, the question is answered right there and in Hebrews 8 as previously quoted. And it was soundly ignored. Thank you for noticing.

As Hebrews 8 and 9 show us, the second covenant with Israel is the Messiah's offering of Himself on the cross as a Sacrifice to save us from our sins. This allowed for the Holy Spirit to be given to believers after His resurrection and ascension. Believers are the Israel of YAH as Ephesians 2 and Romans 9 and 10 and Galatians 6 clearly tell us.

What I'm constantly reading is "I don't believe what you're saying", "I don't know much about that book", "I don't know what that means", etc, yet you can pull out scriptures left & right that say your beliefs are correct. That's too selective to be real.
So Jacob, how long are you going to deceive these members?

Hi. Thank you for your response.

I do eat kosher only.

I don't know what you mean by the Sting of the law. You mentioned a death penalty and I do not know what you mean by that. For, you said that it is linked to the Sting of the law that you have not explained.

You are right that we are to love our neighbor as ourself. And this is expressed in some if not all of the other commands or commandments.

As for atonement, what do you think of the word atonement here? It is the only case where it shows up for Jesus.

Romans 5:11 NASB20 - And not only [this,] but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Sincerely,

Jacob

That we were strangers does not mean that we now belong to Israel as far as I can tell.

I was actually meaning from the human side of the equation.
Our part is to believe in the Son and Who He is and what He did to save us, for the forgiveness of our sins, and that the Father raised Him from the dead to life again.

Hi Edify.

That is a good name by the way. We should edify our brothers and sisters in Christ.

I do not know everything, but I do know that if I do not know something I am to be honest about it. This has nothing to do with deceiving anyone.

Sincerely,

Jacob

@JacobMartinMertens You’ve indicated that you believe in Jesus, so are you a Messianic Jew? Just wondering. Thanks. . . You don’t need to answer if this is too personal. Thx.
