No, they did not have glorified bodies.

1 Corinthians 15:35-49

"But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly."

yet they walked with GOD. There must have been something different about their bodies.

Their bodies were not yet subject to the effects of sin, but they weren't glorified. Jesus was the firstborn, or first with a glorified body.

If you have seen me, you have seen the father.
That does not mean that they are the same individual. Instead, it simply means that Jesus is the "express image" (Hebrews 1:3) of the Father in that he never spoke or acted independently of him.

The verses say, they walked with GOD....it does not say they walked with Jesus. Jesus did not have a body like he has now.

Jesus is God (John 1:1), and you should do some research to see what a theophany is.

Thread Title

Did Adam and Eve have glorified bodies?

Well ----some think so and some don't ------so the scripture says they were naked ----but they were not ashamed Genesis 2:25 -----------until they sinned -----then they became aware of their nakedness and tried to hide their bodies from not just God but from each other ------

So Scripture does give us this ----

Nakedness between a Husband and a Wife is not shameful to God ------as seen here ---as they become one -----

Genesis 2:24 Amp B
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united {and} cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

So the Hebrew word in verse 25 for naked is
Strong’s Definitions [?](Strong’s Definitions Legend)

עָרוֹם ʻârôwm, aw-rome'; or עָרֹם ʻârôm; from H6191 (in its original sense); nude, either partially or totally:—naked.----naked Genesis 2:25 -----

I say -----So I don't think they were covered by God's Glory -----they were both just plain naked -------and were comfortable in their nakedness ------

And when they sinned ---they both became aware of this nakedness and were ashamed and hid from God and tried to hide their bodies from each other by covering themselves with leaves-------

So I think ------God was showing us the difference here in the state of innocents and blessedness ---and the state of the guilt of Sin and separation from God's blessedness ---------that is my view -----

before the fall ---- harmony ----togetherness ----peace ----communion

1695132148414.jpeg

after the fall ---guilt ==shame --fear ----division and the blame games enters ------

JohnB, NO they didn't, because they would have to go to Heaven to be judged. Imagine a glorified body stained by sin.
You also forget, Jesus walked with Abraham, & he didn't have one either.

They had super pure bodies and DNA. Adam lived 930 yrs. without the tree of life. Even his kin, like Methuselah live 969 yrs. ; and Noah lived 950 yrs.

Since no man has seen God the Father, Adam and Eve walked with the pre-incarnate Word (Jesus). As Christ said those who have seen Him have seen the Father in the sense that He is an exact replica of the Father..

- Exodus 33:20

Could it be that the reason man cannot see God’s face is because the splendor and brightness of His Shekinah glory would be too bright for them to handle in flesh bodies?

But He said, "You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live." And the LORD said, "Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. "So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. "Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen."

a death was something that passed onto man when they sinned and man began tbier struggle with sin as seen in cains warning but oil explains a lot of this

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

… For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,

so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:12, 14, 19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

air you look at before Adam and Eve ate the fruit things are different

“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.( Adam died because of breaking this commandment and lost the right to eat of the tree of life in Eden and was exiled out to the east but beforehand ) .

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:16-17, 25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God put them in Eden and gave them the right to eat of all the trees earned them then they sinned and then everything changes adam is cursed to die and cast out of Eden and it’s made impossible now for him to eat of the tree of life in Eden

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

….And unto Adam he said, ( all flesh and blood is in adams loins at this point we’re literally in his body through procreation eve is called the mother of all living making Adam their fleshly father ) Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. ( he’s cursed now to die ) therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, ( in genesis 2 god placed him in Eden to tend the ground and work the garden ) to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:6-11, 17, 19, 23-24‬ ‭KJV‬

See man eas created to exist with god not to follow Satan through our flesh and die it’s a curse of sin the mortality and shadow of death we exist beneath.

The human body shouts death constantly even small
Innocent children die because tbier flesh is corrupted and imperfect with disease or some unfortunate condition or accidents even humans are frail but we were meant to live and not die

about the first born man killed the second born man and we humans do everything that is death and destruction and deceptive and corrruptive we being corruption into a world that was nuetral in the beginning our bodies of of that corruption but it is a degradation and what we need is a redemption of those bodies that exist here

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭

what adam sinned and lost , Christ is offering the way back

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

remember why Adam was cast out ? He didn’t follow the commandment we are a degradation of what we are meant to be and need to be redeemed or reconciled to what was broken and lost because of sin and death

Wasn't everything created before man created for man, though Jesus more specifically? As scripture asks, "do you not know that you will judge angels?" Doesn't that translate as 'ruling over'? So, when scripture says that Jesus was made a little lower than the angels, how does this translate, as it is generally understood, that angels are 'higher' beings? Several translations render Psalm 8:5 as saying, "what is man...You have made him a little lower than God ('me'elohim)..."
while Hebrews 2: 5 and 7 in reference to Jesus quote this verse as saying, "a little lower than the 'angelos.'

At any rate, man abjugated his authority when he 'unyoked' himself of God's faithful Word. That is, until Christ reclaimed it.

The Great Commission
(Mark 16:14–18)

16Meanwhile, the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain Jesus had designated. 17When they saw Him, they worshiped Him, but some doubted.

18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciplesd of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
