I should not probably be bothered but I can’t help it. Slackers at work bothers me because it is unfair for those who are hardworking.
Yeah I had to work through that one too (pun intended.) Everyone leaves a mess lying around, confident that good ole uncle Lynx will clean up after them, because they know I have to clean up their mess before I can get my job done.
Then one day my wallet said something that changed my whole world view. (My wallet is always commenting about my work habits - on slow days it just worries its little self to death, afraid I'll be sent home early.) It said, "Shut up you idjit! I'm enjoying this!"
What it basically boils down to for me is, I do my job, I get my pay and I go home. I'm not a manager, never want to be a manager and what other people are doing (or not doing) is not my problem. The manager sees who is working and who is not. If he doesn't do something about it, that's between the lazy worker, the manager and the owner. I don't have any legit reason to even care about it, much less do anything about it.
And I sure don't go home early a lot. The lazy ones get sent home early all the time though.
