Do you affirm that Jesus is God.
"God" means Elohim, according to the Scriptures there are many elohim, is He YHWH? Since YHWH is the Father, I don't think Yahshua/Jesus is the Father.

I know Yahhsua is the salvation of YHWH, I know He is the spotless Lamb, I know He is now High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.

And

I know what this means:

Psalms 118:25-26, 25 I pray, O יהוה, please save ( Hoshianah) us now; I pray, O יהוה, please send tsalach. . 26 Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה! We shall bless you from the House of יהוה."

John 5:43, “I have come in My Father's Name, but you do not follow Me. Let another come in his own name; him you will follow.”

John/Yahanan 17:17-24, “Set them apart in Your truth – Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world. And for them I set Myself apart, so that they too might be set apart in truth. That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us,"
How do the disciples know His prayer since they were asleep?

Other peoples comments have nothign to do with me, you just accused me of being hostile to Yahshua, if I have not been I think I deserve an apology, that is a very serious charge.
I an I proved it to. As it seems you are unstable.

What? I never said anything about a prayer or them knowing it, but He taught them many times and many things that are not recorded

John 21:25, "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written."

Do you Trinitarians believe in each one of the findings of the council?
What is the Trinity?
1) one God in three persons (one being or essence with 3 personalities)
2) co-eternal (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have always existed)
3) co-essential (they share the same essence)
4) co-equal (the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God)
5) eternal generation (the begotten Son has always existed)
6) dual natures of Christ in one person (divine and human)
7) in their union each nature preserves its distinct attributes (Jesus is all human and all God)
8) two wills in Christ- divine and human- never conflict
Yes, the Bible reveals God those ways. Therefore, I believe the same truths, which reveal God as a mystery that my puny mind cannot comprehend or fathom completely. As a result, he is worthy of my belief, worship, and service.

You still did not answer my question! I just want to find out if trinitarians are consistent in what they believe.
"Consistency" to my reason is not the goal; the truth of the Scripture as God's revelation is our goal. We accept the mysteries about God.

i was just thinking of John 17, how He kept chastening them for falling asleep, yet we have His prayer recorded.

Not about you, brother. but wonder if you have insight

Perhaps this is part of the Spirit calling them to rememberance - and perhaps more. it has long struck me that, He had no reason to pray aloud - He even taught against it, in Matthew 6 - so when i have His prayer in front of me, wow! what is this doing here?

these things He said, for my benefit, that i would read them. this is not something He needed to say in the hearing of anyone in order to pray - it is something He made known in order to be known, because we need it.

i think i need to interpret them with that context in mind.

Obfuscation.

I would say it is possible, but only YHWH knows for sure

This is a Scriptrue that comes to mind

John/Yahanan 14:26, "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."

John/Yahanan 7:16-17, "Yahshua answered, them, and said: My doctrine is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If any man will do His will, he will know about this teaching, whether it comes from YHWH, or whether I am speaking of My own authority."

Yahanan/John 14:28, "You have heard that I told you: I go away, but come again to you. If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I."

It is amazing how the naysayers appear on these forums. Obviously you understand nothing about the Godhead. You cherry picked a couple of verses and ignored the ones which say that Jesus is God just like the Father is God. This is the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.

Ànd you still didnt answer the question.
Until you answer the question concerning the deity of Christ, we have no conversation.

John 10:30–33

30 I and the Father are one.”

31 The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?”

33 The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”

FYI, the context of John 17:17-24 must build from John 10. Good try but no cigar.[/QUOTE

Obviously they didn't understand the concept of ONENESS also.
