How do you reconcile the first Commandment with the trinity?

lots of strangeness going on lately. could it have anything to do with the word getting out that the Psalms are mainly the prayers of the Son and the Holy Spirit and quotes of the Father? After all, if Psalm 119 is indeed the Son's prayer for life because of His obedience to the Law and His Father, in offering His life as a Sacrifice for sin, to save us, as the Law required of Him, then that changes everything.

What do you mean by, "strangeness"?

If the Psalms are the words and prayers of the Son and Holy Spirit and Father to Each Other, then that reveals Their most Personal thoughts and conversations with Each Other, It is a whole Book with the Words of the Son and Spirit and Father to One Another. That is one of the greatest revelations of Scripture which reveals so much in Their very Own Words and prayers.

Since the Son's and Spirit's prayers are in the Psalms, they answer most of the suppositions that have been raised. They also reveal the relationship between Father, Son and Spirit. They also answer the question of this thread and reveal way more than that.

Paged through his vids going back a year and did not see any on the subject precisely. Did not see any that mentioned Psalms in the title. Don't really want to try to contact anyone. Sorry you could not answer it directly. Your answer would have been valued.

You should really pop in sometime, he's a cool guy and I think you'd really appreciate what he has to say. He has a really solid way of teaching. He's actually a Presbyterian minister, but if you're not Presbyterian, don't let that get in the way. I'm not a Presby either, but can still take away some solid meat. He actually does quite a bit of work on the Psalms; that is one of his favorite areas. Right now he's caught up in doing a few different series. It's free to subscribe. You should at least entertain it for a session and see how you like it. He does Q&A's as well.

I do study the Psalms, but do so with other intentions that may not be specific to your question. Some people get into eschatology, but my view is: The Lord is coming regardless of what my view is. Others have interest in the Sabbath, or any other variety of topics. Mine is primarily textual criticism and Deity of Christ, if you couldn't tell.

It really is irrelevant what one is comfortable with. It only matters how the Eternal Godhead has revealed himself in the word of God.
Human intellect is incapable of fully comprehending all the Divine Nature of God.

God the Father is God as the Word of God says
Jesus is God, as the word of God says
and the Holy Spirit is God as the word of God says, yet they are one as the word of God says.

You cannot explain that we can only apprehend it.

the fact that so many missed it and continue to deny it is astounding. but here we are 2000 years after He lived the Psalm with still nearly no one comprehending it. and others who try to suppress it, since it proves the truth of Scripture old and new concerning the Son being Messiah beyond any doubt.
