A person may be arrested for terroristic threatening, but not murdered. The only reason to use lethal force is if the person being arrested uses potentially lethal force to resist arrest.

So the problem that i have with these situations, is that the news outlets are so dishonest that you will never get the real story.
My personal experience with news outlets is that they dont care what the truth is.

This guy had a history of pointing guns at people who came on his property. I am all but certain he was armed at the time the FBI served his arrest warrant. However, even if he was unarmed, many of you are for qualified immunity... Qualified immunity extends to FBI agents. Yall love the get-out-of-jail free card for police officers, why not FBI agents?

The people who reported the poster named EndQualifiedImmunity for posting videos of cops abusing their authority. I even saw people point out his username as some sort of proof he is anti-cop. You can dig those threads up and get more than 3 different people.

I mean, do you think the previously document incident of him being armed towards the Google fiber guys is fake news? Do you think it's true but just a coincidence and that this time around he wasn't armed? Other than a lack of evidence (not being given visual proof), why do you think he wasn't armed? Also, I did a simple google search and found MULTIPLE sources "plastering" that he did in fact have a gun...

I also didn't see the body of Osama Bin Laden when we killed him. There is a conspiracy theory we didn't really kill him... do you subscribe to that? I didn't see a picture of anyone shooting JFK on the grassy knoll, do you believe in the magic bullet theory too? Is the only reason you believe Kobe Bryant died because you saw the leaked pictures (LAPD/LAFD) of his charred body?

I think we mutually agree that cops and FBI agents abuse their authority and/or act incompetent from time to time. I am willing to condemn these FBI agents if they truly busted in his house and shot him unarmed... However, I need something more than the fact the media didn't "plaster" he was armed (which they actually have) and that they didn't release a picture of the weapon he was reportedly armed with.

You'll probably ask me to post at least 3 pictures of the supposed weapon the man had. It's not required by law for the authorities to show pictures of the evidence gathered at the scene to the public immediately after the incident. However, if they had body cams, I suppose you could do a FOIA request on the video footage.

I was asking a question, I figured since you said that there were many here who feel this way you knew who they were. Why do I need to do all this research? You made the accusation, provide the supporting evidence, instead you just point us to the library. Why don't you do that, you obviously are very concerned about this issue. You should do the research if you're wanting to know who these people are. I made a statement which is factually true. You figured I would remember everyone's username who reported and were offended by his username? Bro, I call you VPN because it's easier to remember . I would have to do the same thing as you in finding the threads and pointing out the people who were offended by his username and the videos he was posting.

I'm more passionate about qualified immunity being a bad idea than I am proving there are people that are for it. However, using your words, will you do a FOIA request on the possible body cam footage and release it to the public? It might cost a couple hundred dollars, "but I figured since you're obviously concerned about this incident" you'll do it.

Heavy-handed policing also happens here in Britain too; for example I posted pics of my camping gear (including a camp knife) in a Prepper/Survivalist forum a couple of years ago and the next thing I know, two Plymouth UK cops came knocking (in fact hammering) on my door to question me.
I let them in and they sat for almost half an hour interrogating me and writing down my answers, and asked me to sign over my camping knife and even my Swiss army knife to them.
So I signed them over as a gesture of goodwill and they left, apparently satisfied that I wasn't a terrorist or nutty.
PS- they were from the same police force that stupidly let a known hothead (below) have a shotgun licence a year or two before, who then went on a killing spree, you couldn't make it up..

Nope. You are waffling again! You just said you read reports that he was armed at the time he was shot. You must have read that in the last two weeks. Just share the link. How absurd, we have to spend hundreds of dollars, maybe have to go to court, and wait months to get something you have just claimed you already have.

But many people here don't take kindly to criticism of public entities... although they seem more lenient if they are FBI/CIA or Democrats. "I figured since you're obviously passionate about proving the guy was unarmed", you will do what it takes to get the FOIA request though...

I am watching the video, it is dark, there are cars in the way, many men, and we are supposed to be believe that a neighbor allegedly saw a gun? This is absurd. The man was shot dead. The cops then dragged him out into the street. If there was a gun by his body it would have been entered in as evidence and would be part of the public record. This story proves (IMO) that there wasn't a gun and they know it looks bad which is why they are coming up with this bogus neighbor saw it story. It was very clear from the video that the neighbor shooting the video could not possibly have seen it, and the story doesn't say it was a neighbor, just that "it was reported". No one is taking credit for having "seen a gun".

Also we finally see the "threat". He says he will be cleaning the dust off his gun. Since when is it a crime to keep a legally registered gun clean?

Agreed, the neighbor didn't report the man was armed, it was the agents. Nevertheless, there are 3x sources of it being "plastered" that the man was armed. So you can take this off the list of reasons why you think the guy was unarmed (because the media supposedly didn't "plaster" it in which case they really did).

Perhaps this is an unfair assessment of the scenario, but the agents' claim that he was not following orders/commands appears to be substantiated. This doesn't prove he really was armed, just gives something towards their credibility.

Now what proof do you have to show that he was unarmed again?
