I never said that those two books are unique from the rest of the Bible. I merely said that they go together like hand and glove.
It so happens that it is their uniqueness that makes them go together, they are the only two books containing apocalyptic prophecy. Unlike other prophecies, each apocalyptic prophecy has a beginning point and ending point in time, and each event within that prophecy is given in chronological order. This is a natural law/hermeneutic God build into these prophecies, which was discovered nearly forty years ago, that earlier expositors never understood.

If you believe that the book of life remains sealed until the end of the Millennial Reign of Christ, then how could you possibly believe that the book which Jesus takes from the Father's hand is the book of life because he opens the seals of it long before the Millennial Reign even begins?
Because the first seal was opened after Christ received the book in 1798, and the other five seals prior to the Millennial Reign of Christ in heaven. The seventh is opened at the Great White Throne Judgement at the end of the thousand years. Rev. 20:11. "...And I saw the dead, small and great[wicked], stand before God, and the books[plural, of deeds] were opened, and another book[singular] was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judge out of of those things [deeds] which were written in the books [plural/books of deeds] according to their works.

There should be no doubt that the book with seven seals is the, "Book of Life," because it's the only book given to the Lamb/Jesus in the book of Rev., and after Jesus receives it is called the, "Lamb's Book of Life," (Rev. 21:27) or "the Book of Life belonging to the Lamb." (Rev. 13:8)

Why did the Father write a book before anything was created, and then seal it with seven seals?

Latter at some point in time a great convocation was held in heaven, (Rev.4&5) and a search of the universe was conducted in which Jesus was the only one found worthy to open its seals. What was Jesus found worthy to do that no one else was worth to do?
I love reading the Apocalypse [Revelation, Book of]!

When Daniel, was given the basic outline of the End of the World before and during Tribulation, he was told he could not know because it is for a Time long from now.
Daniel 12:4

"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."

but, how ever you round it off, 750 - 850 years later, in 95 AD, John finishes Daniel's Book. Which solidifies what Jesus said in Matthew 24 and Luke's Version + Peter and Paul and Jude [using Enoch].

But the BOOK, you speak about, is indeed a Mystery.
My Grandfather came from a Jewish Family and he then married a Blackfoot Sioux Princess, whose Father was Chief of that Tribe.
He became a well known Teacher of the Hebrew Tanakh, but he explained it through the English Version Old Testament.
He, passed down through Generations of Jews, taught us this BOOK contained ALL PERSONS that would be Saved. That was Hebrew Tradition as far back as Enoch to Noah to his great grandson Abraham/Abram.

And Yeshua DIED, so those in the BOOK, would have Eternal Life.

I firmly believe, God wanted everyone to be Saved, but He, knowing the End from the Beginning and Creator of ALL, knew there were going to be THOSE PEOPLE, that NO MATTER THE AMOUNT OF PROOF and their own personal experience, they will REFUSE to recognize it was God. And then, there would be THOSE, WHO can FIND and SEE GOD in EVERYTHING! Those, are what is thought to be written inside of that Precious Book!

You may be correct Goldwing "All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being." Or perhaps "all things" points to earthly created things only?

I agree with your post, however that does not answer my question. Why did the Father write a book before anything was created, and then seal it with seven seals?

Let the bible interpret the bible. I'm doing some research on it now but this came into mind, judgement is coming, those in the Book of Life move on to the Kingdom, the other don't, so my assumption at this time would be it was created for judgement. Love, blessings

My heart is led to the Book of Life, however , only our Father knows with all certainty.

Sorry folks, that mention of seven seals makes my thinking way off base. I do not like commenting on Revelation because I have always truly believed when it is time for me to know, I will know, so forgive my ignorant outburst, and please ignore it.

Hi :)

Well one thing that seems clear to me is that our Father definitely wants us to read this “revealing” book of Revelation.

In contrast to this in the book of Daniel, “Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased,” notice that
in the book of Revelation, one of the seven angels gives John precise instructions telling him NOT to seal the sayings and prophecy of this book: Rev. 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

In other words, since the book of Revelation is not sealed, God desires that His servants read and comprehend it, right?

Why? Maybe because Our Father wanted us to begin reading and studying the rest of the Bible, starting from the beginning. After all, Revelation is the last book.

Jesus was found worthy to open the seals because He is the Word.

Just my thoughts.

your apology excepted. I wish there were more of that practiced on this site. It truly demonstrates the humility of Christ.

Do not rule out the possibility that, that moment may have arrived.

Certainly. I wanted to get feed back before I share what makes perfect sense to me after I heard it from a Bible scholar.

Well I've held out long enough on my first question, Why did the Father write a book before anything was created, and then seal it with seven seals? Appreciate all the responses but didn't get the answer which I think will amaze you. However, before I answer the question I want you to be aware of the fact, that all truth passes through three stages:
First it Is ridiculed, Second it is violently opposed, Third it is accepted as absolute truth.

Based on this fact then, I'm bracing for many negative post so I asking that you be gentle.

Why did the Father write a book before anything was created, and then seal it with seven seals?
It is ironic that many Christians give more attention to the seven seals than the contents of the sealed book! After all, the objective of breaking open the seven seals is to expose the contents of this book!

Each apocalyptic prophecy has a starting point in time and Prophecy 6 has a starting point in time, but the starting point is not described in Revelation 4. The starting point is determined by linking Daniel 7:9-14 with Revelation 4 and 5. Let me explain. Daniel was zoomed forward in Daniel 7 to see the Father, the Ancient of Days, convene a special meeting in 1798. John was also zoomed forward to 1798 to observe the same meeting, but from a different perspective. Both prophets saw the exaltation of Jesus.

Prophecy 6 unfolds in chronological order. John was taken “in the spirit” to visit Heaven’s temple. An important item he saw in the Father’s right hand was a book sealed with seven seals. John saw the Father search for someone who was worthy to take the book and break the seven seals. Eventually, Jesus was found worthy to receive the book and He began the process of breaking the seals.

The Father wrote The Book of Life [the record of the lives of all who would receive life] to resolve a contradictory problem before a contradictory problem even existed! The Father foreknew that a day would come when His children would question His integrity and He knew the best way to resolve this coming problem was to create a “time capsule.” The Father wrote The Book of Life to prove to the universe, at an appointed time, that His foreknowledge has no effect on His actions. Even though the Father knows the outcome of all things before they occur, He does not use this foreknowledge to control future events. God knew that people would claim that God uses His foreknowledge to direct the outcome of future events. This problem explains why He wrote the book and why certain angels have been recording life ever since life began. At the end of the 1,000 years in Revelation 20, the recordings of life made by angels in real time will be compared with the contents of The Book of Life.

When the seventh seal is broken, the Father will demonstrate that His “time capsule” is identical with the recordings made by angels. This will prove to the universe that He perfectly foreknew that sin would occur, as well as who would be saved and who would be condemned long before they were born, and even though He perfectly foreknew the end from the beginning for every angel and person, He loved each one the same. He did not predetermine who would be saved and who would be lost. The Father will prove that He treated each angel and person as though they would live eternally. The Father wants to prove that His love for His children is not affected by His foreknowledge. This is a huge concept to process and we will see this amazing concept unfold in our study on Revelation.

When the Father wrote The Book of Life, He planned that as each seal is broken, there would be a new revelation about Jesus. Therefore, at the appointed time, seven new revelations will be made about Jesus. When the seventh seal is broken at the end of the 1,000 years, both Jesus and the contents of His book will be completely exposed!

Three important goals will be accomplished when the seventh seal is broken open. First, it will reveal that Jesus is a separate and distinct God, a co-eternal equal of the Father. The Father wants the universe to know that Jesus has the same powers, prerogatives, and substance as Himself. Second, the Father will prove to the universe that He will not, under any circumstances, use His foreknowledge to protect Himself or His government from harm or rebellion. In fact, even though the Father foreknows the future, He will not allow His knowledge to alter or infl uence His love or treatment of any person. Last, the Father will prove to the universe that one of His strangest laws is completely harmonious with principles of love. In my opinion, this prophecy contains one of the most fascinating stories found in the book of Revelation.

Note: Now that I have given the answer to my first question, still looking for your thoughts on the second. What was Jesus found worth to do?

Yes, Jesus is not the Father, they are separate God's, and their is the Holy Spirit, who is neither the Father or Jesus, but also a separate God. The three however, are united in their plans and actions, thus we have the trinity, which we often refer to as God.

The Father was greater than The Son only during the time Jesus was with us. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God.

DO you have a verse from the Bible that says that? Because I am not recalling that concept from the Word.
