T-shirt thoughts

So I was on Amazon, and I started looking at Jesus shirts. I saw one that said "Jesus, the way the truth the life" I saw some that had different verses, and then I saw one that said "let's talk about Jesus".

My questions are this. What are your thoughts on wearing shirts such as these in public? Do you think it's wrong to wear them to try to witness to others like the "let's talk about Jesus" shirt? Would you stand by your shirt if someone made a scene in front of many others(if you purchased and wore it)? Do you think it's wrong to purchase these styles of shirts?

Now please take note, these shirts are not for mocking, or cursing the lord. There are scriptures styles, and invitation styles and things like that. Yes I'm sure if you search for the bad styles.....you might find them(I didn't look).

If you want to wear clothing like this it's up to you. Just be aware that if you do it may bring some unintended consequences. You may get kicked out of some public places (believe it or not); you will attract a lot of weirdos; you'll attract people who only want to preach their Jesus at you; but you may have some positive experiences too. If you're willing to take the bad along with the good, then go ahead.

I think it’s a great idea to wear our faith on our sleeve!😜.
I wear a couple different t shirts one is a hammer, forge , crossed swords ⚔️ and the Christian cross it has proverbs 27:17- iron sharpens iron. It has led to a couple great conversations with strangers and I believe one divine appointment.

I have one that says - be the warrior God called you to be -1John 5:4 with a spartan helmet -from -hold fast apparel -

Another one says- for honor , for glory , ⚔️ not to us LORD , But to your name be the Glory.-psalm 115:1.

The last one is a spiritual warfare shirt from hold fast company -that says- my prayer is that when I die all hell rejoices that I am out of the fight-CS Lewis - 2Tim 4:7-8- US flag and a spartan helmet

I think if people got to read the shirts in public they would think I'm a nice girl kinda like being automatically accepted and well thought of because well maybe the shirt says more about you right off the bat like what kind of person you are and what you believe in so I'm not a conversation starter but they can sure look to you in a nice way because you have good beliefs and morals.

Have you ever had any situations come from wearing a shirt? Good or bad?

Not really, I think these ones I have most people write off as shirts typical of the (Grunt Style) designs that are popular so without an individual taking the time to actually read they may pass it by and never give a second thought.I think I’ve got a couple crusty whispers behind my back before but never anything overtly adversarial. But then again I’m in the Bible Belt in rural America too. Wore the prov. 27:17 one in Kansas City and that’s where I’ve seen the most reaction but really it wasn’t adversarial more curiosity

That is what my hope would be too. I'm not a very good speaker, I'm not good at holding a conversation, but when it comes to the lord I am more then happy to talk about him. I just need a way to approach the whole situation and a shirt could be a help.....I think lol.

I’ve been thinking about sporting the “binge Jesus “ or the “get used to different “ or the fish Swimming pattern apparel that is offered by the Chosen , despite what one may disagree about the show it’s a way to reach the lost.

I need to improve on being a witness and serving more. I know I try but I want to do more for the lord.

There are lots of ways to talk about the Lord with people if you stop and think about how to do it. I used to get hit up for cigarettes all the time. I don't smoke so I'd say, no I don't have one but I have something a lot more valuable than that. Usually they'd say something like oh yeah, what's that. And I'd say the truth. They would say, the truth about what, or what truth. And there ya go, door open. Sometimes they would just get mad and walk away but sometimes it led to some interesting conversations. I had a few funny responses from people. There was this one guy and I said I have something a lot more valuable than a cigarette; his eyes got big and he says, "weed!?" lol

Just think about ways you can turn everyday situations into a door to talk about the Lord. A T-shirt might do the trick too, whatever works best for you.
