Are people afraid to give an actual answer here? Just name things you don't like and if Trump does it then you stop supporting him. It's that simple and applies to every single person and anyone they politically support.
You have to read some of the past post, many have answered that question already.🥰

Many of us have, I have given a list of six things. No response. See Post #11 and Post #15

Yes, it should be a very simple matter. The fact that is isn't for many of Trump's followers is telling.

I have already done this on the first page, but very well, let's give a more detailed answer again for those late to the party.

If Trump did this I'd stop supporting him

1. I am very concerned about War. One thing that I liked about Trump was that he did not get us into any new wars. It had been a long time since we had a president who didn't get us into new wars. That doesn't mean I don't support the army and the need to defend ourself, but I want it done legally. If Trump were to go and blow up a Russian pipeline, or try to assassinate Putin with Drones, or send F16 to Ukraine which is not an ally after promising not to, or if he sent US soldiers to fight Russia without a formal declaration of war, then yes, these would be things that would sour me on him very quickly.

2. I am very concerned about corruption in Washington DC. If Trump were to take my tax dollars to pay off college loans, I would consider that theft. If I found out that ten million dollars was paid to Trump through Don Jr. from a foreign country in exchange for Trump doing them favors, if I discovered that Trump's kids were able to get away with not paying taxes on millions of dollars because the IRS and FBI were protecting his kids, then yes, I would not support him.

3. I am very concerned about the weaponization of the DOJ. Just because I don't agree with someone does not mean I want their views censored. If I found out the DOJ was labeling parents as Domestic Terrorists because they voice complaints at school board meetings, if I found out that Trump was arresting his political enemies, if I found out that his campaign was using dirty tricks to falsely label his opponent as being in the pocket of Russia, or creating false flag events to discredit his political opponent (kidnapping a governor or having an insurrection) then I would not support him.

4. I am very concerned about child trafficking for sex. If Trump opened wide the border to let the child traffickers in, if child trafficking became the most profitable business for the cartels, even more profitable than drugs under Trump, if Trump himself were a pedophile taking showers with 11 year old girls and groping children in public, then of course like any decent person, I would not support him.

5. I am concerned about who he is as a person. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect our politicians to be saints, or even holy men of God. But I do expect them to be decent. If Trump did something despicable like refusing to acknowledge one of his grandkids, then I would not vote for him.

6. I am concerned that he be competent. If Trump could not put two sentences together, if he appeared to have dementia, diminished cognitive abilities, diminished physical abilities then I would not want him to be president.

7. I am also concerned about the economy. If I thought he handled the economy poorly then I would look for another more capable candidate.

What is telling is that I have responded to that question three times, Post #11, Post #15 and Post #125 and you have never responded and continue to pretend that people are not responding.

And what about those of us who don't "support" any candidate?

When you say that plenty of people went to hear truth or you talking about christians with christian values?🥰
I'm talking about John the Baptist. God's people gravitate towards truth wherever it is to be found and regardless of the difficulty in getting to it.

I have stated on numerous occasions that Trump is a very flawed man. I believe there are a couple of other candidates who I prefer. But he is infinitely better in my opinion than any candidate from the opposing party.

It's being asked of one side and not another. We had two choices, Biden or Trump. If it comes down to that again I'd vote Trump. I would in no way vote for Biden, or any Dem at this point. They are totally against anything Christian, even voted to take God's name out of their party. I don't how a Christian could ever support them.

The Question I have for Biden supporters is what will it take for you to no longer support him? Apparently they don't care if he turns the Whitehouse into a crack house.

because 97% of the members here are not either Republicans or anti Democrats so it makes little sense to ask from the other side since it'll just be preaching to the choir. To answer your last point, there are other parties that the people conveniently ignore which is why we are stuck with the 2 party nonsense.

This is just a cop out, I'm so sick of hearing this. And it's usually said by people who voted for Biden. It comes down to two candidates, you have one to choose. I don't know how anyone can call themselves Christian and vote for Dems. Surely RA, as high on his horse as he has always been, did not vote for Biden, surely not.
See, right there shows you're not listening. I've stated several times that I do not vote for democrats.

And the idea that you have to choose one or the other is a lie straight from the pit of hell. That's how satan plays you.

Republicans are the false prophets the Bible warns us about.

Democrats are how satan gets us to buy into the right's deceptions.

The problem is that if you don't respond with what they want to hear, your response will be ignored and summarily dismissed. That's why I don't deep dive here any more, I find it to be a monumental waste of my time. If i thought my words here were going to be given careful consideration, I would elaborate further. But they won't, so I don't.

Warning!

As of late many of the threads in this forum have degraded into nasty mannered mud slinging contests and as a result a couple of them have been closed in the past couple of days because there has been no individual user that has been the sole offender, just a topic that got heated and progressively the bar got lowered.

Christian Chat understands that some political and social topics are going to be hot button topics and that those topics are going to more prone to heated discussion, however we still expect those heated discussions to be held with a level of civility. For the time being if these discussions continue to degrade we will continue to close them, however we will reserve the right to remove some (or all) of the users that are frequent offenders.

But regardless, there is no excuse for calling a brother or sister in Christ a Democrat!
Apology

I would like to publicly apologize for this post. It is not funny, it is abhorrent.

What this does is demonize the tens of millions of people in this country that have voted for various candidates, as such it is every bit as divisive as demonizing those that voted for Trump which I also think is abhorrent and have condemned.

Therefore this is hypocritical. I have condemned Biden for demonizing those who voted for his opponent, and by making this statement I am doing the same thing I condemned.

It is also a very serious violation before the Christian Chat because as one poster noted it raises the question as to whether it is a policy of Christian Chat and that is a truly horrendous and yet plausible reading. Jesus is not the author of confusion, this statement is in the wrong.

But even more serious is the implication that there is such a criteria for being a born again believer. This is not funny. If someone who had recently come to the Lord were to think that how you voted in a past election determines your status as a born again believer, that would be a very grievous sin at the judgement seat of Christ for me to answer for.

Therefore I plead the blood of Jesus, and ask for forgiveness.

Let me clarify this so there is no confusion as to what I am saying.

In my opinion there is only one acceptable outcome concerning the cocaine found at the Whitehouse. Either the Secret Service identifies who it was that left it there, or else they all get fired. With all the cameras, agents, checkpoints, logs of who was there, and drug tests it is not acceptable to say "we'll never know".

1. The Whitehouse has a 0 tolerance policy and everyone there is drug tested. Therefore test them again, anyone who is positive for Cocaine gets fired immediately. Anyone who isn't is eliminated as a suspect.

2. With cameras and the logs of visitors they should have a narrow list of who had access to that room in the time frame allotted.

This should not be treated as a joke. Someone from the Secret Service should give a thorough account of the investigation. Presumably there were no fingerprints left at the scene. If they were to give us a thorough account of the investigation and show that there is no way for them to determine who left it then that suggests it wasn't a drug addict but someone trying to frame Hunter Biden a known drug addict and also someone we all know was there. This would be on par with a coup. All the more reason why the Secret Service should be held accountable if they can't determine who left it.

Therefore no one should be supporting Joe Biden in this instance. Either he fires those who carried out this investigation and appoints new investigators, or we need a thorough and complete explanation for why not. Already the changing accounts of what took place out of the Whitehouse indicate they are trying to cover up the story. This makes them appear guilty. It doesn't help that Hunter's attorney is seen smoking a bong while at Hunter's home. This is like drinking alcohol in front of a recovering alcoholic. This all has the appearance of evil.

If Biden is innocent it is incumbent upon him to do everything in his power to clear himself. The cocaine was found in his house. A felony was committed in his house. There are many Americans who went to prison for ten years or more based on that much evidence. It is not acceptable to say "we'll never know".

Donald Trump will probably win the next election with even Democrats liking what he says.

Trump is pushing Congress to pass a law that will give the death penalty for drug traffickers, and human traffickers, because millions and millions of people's lives are being destroyed by them.

This will have a lot of people favoring Trump.

Also the slogan Make America Great Again, and Trump being a racist, and favoring the white people, is a contradiction.

The nation would not be great with that agenda because it would divide the nation, and cause fighting, and chaos.

There are too many minorities in the nation, and all religions in the nation with their people for that to cause America to be great.

The only way America can be great is if there is unity.

And if you ask Trump supporters what they want and they say unity so that is what Trump is pushing.

Also Trump did more for the black people than Obama and Biden together which even Farrakhan was mad at Obama for not helping the black people.

Many Democrats and black people that were Democrats are now siding with the Republican party.

The liberal black people want to cry about the past but the conservative black people want to move forward in unity with white people, and do not blame them for slavery for that is ridiculous.

Also Trump gave a speech at the United Nations and said they need to step it up to work for peace on earth, and he does not want globalism, and for nations to keep their sovereignty, and for nations to thrive next to each other which would include black nations.

I believe Republicans and Democrats are actually working together which is the Hegel System to establish the new age movement in the world, but the world does not know that so it seems Trump will be the choice they will want.

A little dramatic I think. Yes there are only two. You might as well throw your vote away as vote 3rd party.

Republicans are the false prophets the Bible warns us about.
That's some heavy handed Scripture twisting right there.

Democrats are how satan gets us to buy into the right's deceptions.
Yeah tinfoil hat area, sorry. I don't where you get that at all.

I'm glad you listen, thank you

The only wasted vote is one that is cast for more of the same yet somehow expecting change

Go back to that list of Christian values and the fruit of the Spirit. Being against abortion and sexual immorality does NOT give you a pass to violate everything else.

I get that because far too many think being against abortion and sexual immorality gives you a pass to violate everything else. IE, people vote for republicans because they're against abortion and sexual immorality while violating everything else.
