I'm not gonna lie. Being single and Christian is hard. Waiting in general is hard. I'm taking it one day at a time trying not to be tempted with certain temptations of this world. Lets face it theres temptation all around us. Some times I just think I'm gonna grow old with a house and my 3 cats. I'll be the crazy cat lady living down the block. haha but no , seriously I'm I the only that feels this way ? I mean I pray and stuff but sometimes you just tired of being alone and we weren't meant to be alone as humans. I prayed about this you know? On more then one occasion. Well I've always been told that good things come to those that wait. Well that's all I gotta say about it for now.
no, must be million s of Christians this way. to keep in obedience, socialize with people as often as possible. don't think about what you want. yeah, that's super tough, we all know. but you can adapt this: ask god for what you want & FORGET ABOUT IT!!!! & know that with God, the best is always ye to come! i asked God for a girlfriend awhile back & the H.S. told me: "within 4 years'. 4 years is 208 weeks, He delivered on the 205th week!!!

Hi!
The saying, “the grass is greener on the other side“ isn’t always true. So enjoy your life the way it is for now and be grateful for its uncluttered freedom. ….and, just like you’re already doing, keep on praying for His will in your life to be done. God bless you, @Supergirl_101.

I sometimes wander if we really need to wait. I mean it doesn't sound bad when you're in high school and you're gonna marry your high school sweetheart once you turn 18, like back in the days. But if you don't even want to have kids and a family then chances of anyone marrying you drops significantly.

So what if I don't get married until I'm 50 or 60? I don't think human anatomy is design to wait that long. Even if I did, that means my first one is gonna be a 60yr old? I know this analogy sounds bad but it also sounds fair to me.

Well personally... I'm not such a big fan of me that I feel like I need to make more of me. I don't think I'm so hot that I need another me out in the world. The world has me and that's enough. The world doesn't need another one of me.

So yeah, I don't think I'll have kids.

Children at school were wanting to marry each other in year 2. The teacher told them off and said they were too young and had to concentrate on their school work first.
I also had some girls ask me can girls marry girls?

I do recall hearing a girl fall pregnant at 12/13 years old when I was at school

its just nobody has the financial resources to raise a child at that age and the boys can only earn minimum wage not enought to support a family. Most trust funds arent accessible till at least 18 or 25.

Living in poverty is not the easiest or healthiest thing to do.

Waiting for what? Jesus already died on the cross for you and rose again. Go tell it on the mountain over the hills and everywhere.
Amen.

I may not have a brain, but I think that, in reality, it is normally God and Jesus who are waiting on us.

Matthew 9:36-38

"But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."

In all of our praying, are we praying for this?

Are we willing to be one of those laborers ourselves?

Being single can be very tough, and I know this firsthand. However, thinking of multitudes of people who are perishing and heading for eternal damnation greatly assists me in getting my focus off of myself and on others.
