I'm just looking for some people to talk to, I suppose.
Jesus and all of the promises in him, air conditioning, friendly people, animals, and people who throw buckets of water on wicked witches who are brandishing fiery broomsticks.
I haven't had fun in a long time. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a loner, but not by choice. I'm just not in vogue these days. I pretty much like doing anything that isn't potentially hazardous to my health.
I love animals, but I don't have any pets.
Working for the Lord full-time in any capacity. Everything else just seems so meaningless.
I've pretty much given up looking, but someone who loves the Lord, wants to serve him, and who is kind.
That I'm caring and trustworthy.
Specific movies or genres? I pretty much like any Christian movie that doesn't contradict God's word and movies about love that aren't perverted.
Help to bring souls into God's kingdom.
That would be impossible for me to answer. I pretty much like them all because they are all God's word.

My dream job is food taster. Anyone knowing any openings please pass them along.

dream job is a "higher paid than i am now" drummer position. what i like about myself is i'm highly disciplined. want to socialize in New York City again.

Dark cherries, avocados, eggs, chocolate, peaches, ice cream... Do I really have to stop at five? I've go thousands! I haven't even started on music stuff yet...
What do you like to do for fun?
Computer stuff, music stuff, video game stuff and listening to my family chitchat at family dinners.
Do you have any pets? What are they?
I have an "australian shepherd mix" dog (in other words a mutt.) Dog is smarter than I am. I like cats more, but they keep getting run over by people driving way too fast on my road.
What is your dream job?
I've already done it. I worked front cash at a Taco Bell back in my late teens. It was fun talking to people, and I got to know a lot of the regulars.

I... um... get the impression it wouldn't be anything like that if I was a cashier today. People have changed.

Beats me. Hopefully I'll know when I meet her.
What do you like about yourself?
My sense of humor. Some people roll their eyes at my jokes, but most people laugh at them. I'll take it.
The fact I can carry a tune. As much as I like music, I'd HATE to not be able to sing.
What are some of your favorite movies?
No idea. Got no time to watch recordings of people pretending to do stuff.
What is something you would like to do before you die?
I hope I live long enough to see what becomes of some cool young people I know. Some of them in their late teens and early 20s, I'd love to see what they become when they grow up.

Basically: "God please don't make me rich or poor, because I don't want to get too big for my britches and I don't want to be so desperate to survive that I'd want to steal. Please make sure I have what I need when I need it."

I was looking for an online place to fellowship and have a connection with other believers.

Name five things you are grateful for.
Jesus, my family, living life, my car, coffee… the list is a lot longer than five, honestly. But I’ll end with coffee.

What do you like to do for fun?
In general, I enjoy writing fiction, playing my favorite MMO, hanging out with family, and attending local game night.

Do you have any pets? What are they?
I have a three-pound teacup Chihuahua named Roo. He’s sweet, cheerful, and full of personality. He’s also a tad neurotic.

What is your dream job?
Well, since the whole crime-fighting superhero thing didn’t work out, the next best thing is to become someone who writes about crime-fighting superheroes. But really, I would love to become an established author. I enjoy writing fiction in many different genres.

What are some qualities you are looking for in a partner? (if you're not looking then you can skip this one)
I’m seeking someone with a Christian heart and mind who values the important stuff, like faith, love, communication, and honesty. Qualities that make a relationship lasting and genuine. Personality and common interests certainly matter, but if I can find a devoted Christian who not only accepts me but loves my company, and vise versa, then I think everything else will fall into place.

What do you like about yourself?
I like a lot of things about myself. I even like some of the things that make life challenging at times, because those obstacles continue to teach me discipline and deeper faith. It’s not that I couldn’t find plenty of fault in myself for mistakes I’ve made, but I do choose not to live with regret.

What are some of your favorite movies?
Depends on my mood, but if we’re talking animated films, then Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. If it’s Marvel, then probably the Amazing Spider-man. And for the most epic movie overall, in my opinion, it has to be the Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers.

What is something you would like to do before you die?
The thing I would like most is to achieve is a happy, healthy life filled with meaningful relationships—most importantly, the relationship I have with the Lord.

Favorite Bible verse and why.
My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 130:5-6. I’ve mentioned this somewhere in the forum before, but something about the urgency and longing about waiting on the Lord, then the repetition of “more than watchmen for the morning” really speaks to me. The illustration that the psalmist creates with these words is truly beautiful and somehow very relatable, though if you asked me why, it’d be hard to explain. I just love it.

What brought you to CC?

I've been a member of other Christian forums. There are a couple where I spend a lot of time, and then there are many that I rarely visit. I stumbled across this one after one of my favorite ones closed down for a short while.

Name five things you are grateful for.

I'm grateful for life, my children, my spouse, food, clothing, and shelter, and most of all for having been saved by Jesus Christ.

What do you like to do for fun?

When I was younger I would say running, windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkeling. Now that I'm old I can still run sometimes and I like to take naps, read Christian fiction, and watch movies.

Do you have any pets? What are they?

My last pets were Alaskan husky dogs. They were outdoor dogs and I'd go skijouring with them.

What is your dream job?

I've been retired for over 20 years now and am not seeking employment. If I were to start over I'd get a college degree in a discipline that would start me on the road to becoming a CFO of a large corporation. I think that's a job that I would have qualified for and thoroughly enjoyed.

What do you like about yourself?

I'm comfortable with the person I am. God has blessed me in many different ways and I'm walking the narrow path with Jesus. Like everyone walking this earth, I have a sin nature and will be very happy to shed that someday.
