Almost accurate but being is everything.
You can be who you need to be depending on the situation.

Yes, BDF, but recent (the 18th), and as @tourist might say, high entertainment value...
That's why I missed it. I sedulously avoid that forum. The entertainment is not worth the high blood pressure.

Like I said, I never knew I was such a lost and horrible sinner, worshiping pagan gods till I came to CC. RA has tried to reform me, but I think he's given up, twice.
That's what you think. He will never give up. He may wait patiently for a while, but he will try again.

Join the INFP club on CC!
I started it but then found out later was INFJ too

Its just a baseline. Also some Christians have done a little work on personalites tests like Florence Litteauer (sp?) but they just simplified it to four, which is a bit more general.

I wouldn't say its satanic, it can help you understand others and get along with people - its just a tool. Ive never worked in a place though that ever said you have to take the test or required you to say what type you are on your CV though. Sometimes I think it would be helpful for HR rather than interviews where you are always asked about your strengths and weaknesses. I mean who can say that about themselves we all have our blind spots. If you take a test, it will reveal what you are made of right?

You can also do these things which you might find helpful
5 love langauges and taking spiritual gifts tests

I do agree that we have all been sinners and our goal is to be in Christ, who will enhance and make us over but I think He does honor our indiviuality, we cant be less than who we are, but we can be more than who we are as the Holy spirit works on our lives to make us whole.

There isnt any ONE personality that you can say oh its perfect. We are a mixed bunch of DNA after all. Sometimes we dont combine well with others and we wonder why. Others we get along like a house on fire...although a house on fire is probably not the best metaphor lol

I took the test decades ago and I think the results closely aligned with my personality traits. I had to take it again recently as part of an exam to determine if I was okay in getting some medical hardware installed inside my body. Because I'm decades older, a lot of my answers were probably different but I'm still that same person. The results of this second test missed me by a mile.

By the way I see you have been posting mostly in the Bible Discussion Forum. That is... unfortunate. Ostensibly that is a place to discuss Bible topics, but it has sadly degenerated into an arena for people to beat each other over the head with the Bible and claim "I'm more spiritual than all of you and you're all not real Christians."

I invite you to talk more here in Miscellaneous and Singles forums. (Don't let the name throw you - Singles has evolved into the default chill place for people, married and single, to chat here.) Misc. and Singles get a bit of seepage from Bible Discussion Forum, but generally we're pretty friendly people to talk to.
I agree with you about the Bible Discussion Forum. There is a lot of 'uncrucified flesh' there. I have recently been attacked for just sharing my story.
I will take your advice a stick to Miscellaneous Forum in future.

BDF is ok in (very) small doses.

I think Bible college students must use it to practice for their exams. Though no ones really grading it.

It'd be interesting if a sort of Myers-Briggs type indicator were developed for CC to help in the assessment of compatible yokes, don't you think?
I mean, you have to break a lot of eggs to make an omelet, and tall the more to make a creme Brule or a Meringue. We could call it the Meringue-Brule type indicator.

I've had similar feelings. Possibly theologically inaccurate, but I'm often left with the thought of 'uncircumcised hearts', or hearts still in the process of being circumcised.

I don't let it stop me posting there, though. Maybe you shouldn't stop either? Don't let the haters get you down.

Just put "Personality Junkie" in your search engine and at that site, you can do the test for free.
