Perhaps man's original understanding of Sabbath is misunderstood.

Malachi 3:6 For I am Yehovah, I change not. Because of this you sons of Jacob are not destroyed.

H3444 - Yeshua (whom we call Jesus in English) & H3068 - YHWH (Yehovah also seen in all caps as LORD to avoid saying His Name)

Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Psalms 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Psalms 118:21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Because on Friday the tomb had guards stationed to keep His body from being stolen. Then women, I assume cannot get past the guards.

Matthew 27:62 And on the next day, which was after the Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered to Pilate,
63 saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was living, After three days I will rise again.
64 Then command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night and steal him away and say to the people, He has risen from the dead. So the last error will be worse than the first.
65 Pilate said to them, You have a watch. Go and make it as secure as you can.
66 And going they made the tomb secure, sealing the stone along with the guard.

There were guards on Sunday.

And how would you know that?

Luke 24:2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

Verse 4 coupled with verse 12.

The Report of the Guard
Mat 28:11 And as they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and declared all the things that were done to the chief priests.
Mat 28:12 And being assembled with the elders, and taking counsel, they gave enough silver to the soldiers,
Mat 28:13 saying, Say that His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we slept.
Mat 28:14 And if this comes to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and make you free from care.
Mat 28:15 And taking the silver, they did as they were taught. And this saying was spread among the Jews until today.

Why pay the soldiers if they weren't there? And why are they there if Sunday doesn't fall within the 3 day period?

I see your point. Why where the soldiers there on Sunday morning? The tomb had been shut, and they didn't see inside until the earthquake which happened

Perhaps the soldiers were there Sunday morning before dawn because their shift wasn't over. IDK. What do you think?

I think they were there because it was the 3rd day.

When is the end of the sabbath? It is at sundown on Saturday, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week.
When does the first day of the week begin. After sundown on Saturday day.

When was the earthquake? Sunday morning? Did the earthquake help the angel roll back the stone?

There is another interpretation which I haven't come to terms with. The Jews keep Nisan 16 as the first day of the counting to 50, which always make Shavuot fall on Sivan 6 and not always on a Sunday.

Luke 23:44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

The sixth hour of the day would be high noon. The 9th hour would be 3 p.m. The sun was darkened during those 3 hours. Look again at the date of April 25, 31 AD and the solar eclipse that occurred on that day.

"The traditional view of the Resurrection goes like this: It occurred sometime early Sunday, sometime after mid-night. It was followed shortly thereafter by an early morning visit to the tomb by at least the three women previously mentioned. The tomb was subsequently visited by Peter, and possibly John. John N. Darby, a Hebrew and Greek scholar, in his New Testament, The Holy Bible (1920), translates Matthew 28:1 as follows: “Now late on Sabbath(s), as it was the dusk of the next day after sabbath(s), came Mary of Magdala and the other Mary to look at the sepulchre.”

The Berean Literal Translation renders this verse as: “And after the Sabbaths, it being dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.” Two Sabbaths are again specified.
One possibility is that Mary Magdalene and the others were so eager to approach the tomb that even before the last Sabbath was over they went to the tomb, after sunset on Saturday night. After their visit to the empty tomb and their encounter with the angel, they quickly returned to tell Peter and the other disciples what they had experienced. They returned a second time, early in the morning of the first day of the week, as recorded in scripture.

Based on the Greek text, John Gill’s Bible Commentary, Exposition of Matthew 28:1 (1991) speaks very extensively of this possibility."

BTW.....vacillating about whether there are a full three days and three nights between the death of Jesus and His resurrection has, for me, FINALLY been FULLY once and for all RECONCILED. My gratitude to Pastor Chronister and his stupendous insights.

There are, without doubt, a full three days and three nights. It's called the "Passover pattern".
A pattern which repeats all thru the Bible. Including of course the account of Jonah, who was RESURRECTED after three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish.

Moses recorded the fact that Israel crossed the Red Sea and physically left the land of Egypt on the 17th of Nisan in Numbers 33:1-8: These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out. 3 And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; (Nisan) on the morrow after the Passover (still the 15th) the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians. (Remember, Israel’s days start at sunset) 4 For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.5 And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth. Your quotes from Galatians 5 and from 1st Corinthians 6 shed no light on the matter of a man dressing as a woman. I see that you've highlighted particular words as though those words help your case some how. They don't. The NT does not contain a prohibition against men who dress up as women.

Now, those of us with the Spirit of Christ easily discern the moral nature of such behavior and it is by no meaningless coincidence that this discernment matches perfectly God's commandment given in the Law (Deu 22:5). Surely we must see this as evidence of God's Laws being written on our hearts. For those of us that recognize that God's Law has not been destroyed (Mat 5:17-20) we can take comfort in the fact that we DO have a benchbook in plain English which is a final authority on a host of things, especially morality. The 'new law' Christian lacks a codified, written, printed authority on such things.

There are some "churches" out there that are more dead than a door nail who suppose that they're hearing from the Spirit of God when they condone sex perversion. The benefit of being able to still point to an inerrant Bible as God's Word and as your authority is that you can cut through the BS of exactly who is hearing from God and who is not. The Spirit and the Word agree and are one (1st Joh 5:7).

Is Deuteronomy 22:5 embedded in the Law of Christ, as you see it?
