It's been about a week now and I am just now getting energy.

I'm not sure if it is something I am doing or if it is that I struggle with allergies.

Thanks for the tips and encouragement, I appreciate it.

I made myself an ice-cream dessert. I used 2 pkgs of cream cheese, 1c. Whipping cream, 3/4c. erythitol, and a splash of vanilla.

For the topping I mixed 1/2c. butter, @ 3c. almond flour and a pinch of salt. Baked on 400 degrees, till browned, mixing a couple of times to make it crispy.

I just had some after lunch and I was quite pleased. I know there are recipes out there, but I used what I had and it tuned out well , I think.

Just thought I'd share, let me know if you'd make adjustments.

Sounds delish...Have you tried mug cake ?...It is so simple , and you can add what flavour you like , as long as it is low carb...It takes less than 5 mins to mix together , then pop in microwave for 1 min 30 seconds , and you have a miniture cake...I have also used the ingredients to make a muffin for my egg and sausage...You can find how to make it online , it is quick and easy , and has stopped me many times buying bread , or sugary stuff when my sweet tooth is playing up :giggle:

Feeling better every day and adjusting with intermittent fasting and feeling better than I have in a while.

Hope this encourages someone to do whatever it takes to gain strength and courage to endure the long haul.

Do what you can, never give up.

Little by little gets the job done... :giggle:

Vitamin D levels are usually lowest this time of year and toxins can be a source of lower energy. I found that dandelions (whole plant), onion family (ramps, garlic, and onions), and all edible greens this time of year help stimulate liver function for detox. Eaten raw they are full of enzymes and vitamins.
Here's one that I'm adding to my menu called Purple Dead Nettle. It's not a true stinging nettle. It's supposed to help with allergies too. I hope you are feeling better.

I'm not overly familiar with KETO, but I think the way I eat is probably at least in the neighborhood. I eat lots of meat and natural fats, and eat less carbs than I might otherwise, and I don't eat any sweets/desserts, etc.

I have done keto in the past for a month or so and reaped much benefit in that short time that I felt that I should do it again.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with keto and has any recipes or sound advice to stay encouraged in it.

Just to let people know that the keto diet is somewhat under scrutiny by the medical establishment at this time, i just saw this recently ans was surprised, here are some links from recent articles, long term effects are unknown, there are pros and cons;

keto has been high jacked by mainstream. it used to be prescribed to help with seizures by eating vegies and fat, some protein and very few carbs. boiled cabbage with butter. eggs in lard. green beans and vinegar.

Here is another one of my Keto experiment. Keto chocolate Avocado pudding
. It is made with unsweetened Almond milk, 2 Avocados
, unsweetened Cocoa powder, and my Keto sweetener. Blended all together, and put in fridge for one hour. The texture is silky and smooth, and you can't taste the Avocado. On one, I put a big dollop of extra thick cream
.
Next time, I will use unsweetened Coconut milk, but for now, I am very pleased how these have turned out....@Ruby123

What do you use for keto sweetener @Rosemaryx ?
sweetener erythritol...
It does not affect my blood sugar...Although now the " People " are saying things about it , but the study shows it can have side effects if taken in HUGE amounts...I only add a few teaspoons to a cup of tea , or my coffee , or when I make my desserts...xox...
