Good friend for Jesus sake forbear to dig the dust enclosed hear,
Blese be the man that spares these stones,
And curse be he that moves my bones.

To move those bones, why should I try?
There's naught in them I could descry
Naught of profit, naught to gain
And moving them would be a pain

There is a lot more things in Heaven and Earth, Horacio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy!

In response to Horacio’s doubting that Hamlet has seen his fathers ghost. 👻

Back in Shakespeares day christianty was more like roman catholicism in England until the royals established ther own church of England.

They then destroyed all the abbeys, convents, monasteries, etc or converted them to COE.
High church is more like Catholicism except instead of the Pope, its King Charles as their figurehead. The royals still have the aura of divinity or divine right even when they are just mere humans.

Oliver Cromwell played a pivotal role in curtailing ecumenicalism, he detested all the entrapments of Catholicism, all the candles and crosses, whatever they be. The King of England went to the guillotine during his position in the House of Lord’s or House of Commons, don’t recall which.

Shakespeare quoted the Geneva bible in his plays.

Regardless of the version used, there are roughly 1,350 total identifiable instances where Shakespeare references or quotes directly from the Bible found throughout his plays (Bragg 142).Apr 2, 2018

I watched the movie Cromwell, it was pretty good.
