Honest question....why don't churches teach the best way to avoid fornication is to get married?

Simply put, that is not what the Scripture says. What you "know" is irrelevant in light of that.
Have you switch from the Oxford diction to the bible now ?.

Are you saying that an unbeliever has to be saved befor marriage ?

Your sarcasm is empty, considering my first criticism of your posts was on the unbiblical nature of your supposedly biblical claims. I only criticized your grammar because you persisted in your other errors.

Are you saying that an unbeliever has to be saved befor marriage ?
If I had meant that, I would have said that.

But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion 1 Corinthians 7:9 Paul taught that.

His disciples said to Him, “If this is the case between a man and his wife, it is better not to marry.” “Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given. Matthew 19:11 - 12 Jesus said so.

Why does the church find it so difficult to accept this? Why don't they talk about how to choose a spouse?
@JohnB As far as your finding a suitable wife goes, just pray to The Lord that He will send you a wife, if He thinks that marriage is the best thing for YOU. And I know it's hard, but meanwhile, try to be patient: The Lord knows what you need.

I hope I haven't offended you, my brother.

I also try to look on the bright side. I have my freedom. i can go and do almost anything I want. I have nothing to tie me down. I have also been shocked at the stories of some marriages, even Christian marriages, where one spouse hid their addictions or attitudes until after marriage. Sometimes marriage can bring out the worst in people..

I've seen and heard of too many horror stories about Christian marriages. A husband who only wants to control his wife, a wife who goes around the house casting out demons, a Christian couple who cannot stand each other (once they got married), A marriage can be great if you marry the right person, but can be hell with the wrong person.

Paul warned about being married causing you problems. Maybe churches should talk about the horror stories in marriages to people getting married. I'm sure Paul would have warned the people of the darker side of marriage.

It's the single guy who can't seem to find the mutual attraction to get married. I've met women who would have married me. If there's no mutual attraction, it won't happen.
aw so sad
maybe you turned them off by complaining too much

I see this as you having a mental block but something that could be used to your advantage.
I think once you get to the alter you would be ok and your mental block of all the reason you shouldn't get married would be to your advantage to have a successful marriage.
Besides it's never to late and I can't see any young persons marriage problems being yours, surely life is to short for issues at your age and a mature women at your age would also feel that way.

Briefly - Man & Women were made for each other from the beginning as companions – not just lust

Matt 19 4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Leviticus 18:22 - You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

Yes: to stop fornication and committing ‘sin’ – it is better to marry – but not just marry anyone for ‘sex’ it’s a union of two people for each other. (obviously, the argument of ‘sin’ & ‘law’ or we are saved no matter what we do as long as we believe - depending on your views)

Mark 9:47 - And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out. It’s better to enter the Kingdom of God with only one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,

Matt 19:8 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

Matthew 5:31-32
31 "It has been said, 'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.'

[Jesus is not saying you shouldn’t marry or that you cant divorce]

Matt 5:17 - Jesus said: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets……

At ODDS

Luke 16:18 - "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Conflict

There is some conflict - 1 Corinthians 7:39 - A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord.

[this would imply that you cannot divorce]

1 Corinthians 7:1 - "Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry

[this goes against other teachings and against nature – hence so many issues in the church – also open for sin]

1 Corinthians 7:25 "Now about virgins: I have no command from the Lord, but I give a judgment as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy 26 Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for a man to remain as he is.

Arguably, polygamy is allowed – the prophets had many wife’s / concubines – nothing in the bible that says not allowed – albeit this is for another question.

Finally: Leviticus 18:22 - You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

[clearly you are allowed to lie with a woman – which has to be via marriage, otherwise you would be committing fornication]

I think things are shifting away from an Biblical type marriage in the modern day. Where I live there are several lakes that are private and so to fish in them or use the parks you have to pay dues and have a park sticker on your vehicle. Me and my wife went to get the sticker last month (I'm disabled so I sat in the car). There was a truck sitting beside me and a man and one of the women at the office were discussing him getting the sticker for his boat. He was explaining to her that their property was in his wife's name and that he had always paid and got the sticker the last several years. Strange thing though every time he said "my wife" she would answer by changing his words to ,,"since it's in your partner's name you partner will be the only person we can give the sticker to..." In the few minutes I was sitting there he said wife and she reworded it to partner 4 or 5 times.

Me and my wife notice this beginning to happen a lot recently. I have given SS admin. both written and verbal permission for my wife to discuss and control my account but it never fails I have to get on the phone and give permission every time. My sisters husband passed away a few years back and about 3 days afterward their bank accounts,SS accounts ect. were all frozen and it took her about 10 days to prove that she was his wife and regain control of their finances.

Also I should add the estate recovery plan in this. Every state has this a little different but here is Texas https://www.hhs.texas.gov/regulations/legal-information/your-guide-medicaid-estate-recovery-program Anyway be very careful if you add part C,D Humana ect. to your accounts because if your in a nursing home, have a large hospital stay ect. and you added some of these plans(all the new TV commercials) they will recover this at the time of your death.
