Have you seen the commercials saying Stand Up to Jewish Hate?? It's new catchy tagline. But no one seems to be calling out American companies that support the BDS movement. Unilever, Ben and Jerry's, Knors who make pasta sides, all a part of the BDS movement. Yet I have not seen these companies exposed. A pity that stats show there is a rise in antisemitism in the church also.

I confess a sense of despair on this topic.

I found out today that Ben & Jerry's was owned by Unilever. Israel protested Ben & Jerry's support for the BDS movement. So to solve the conflict, Unilever sold Ben & Jerry's Israeli business to an Israeli company. God is watching over Israel in more ways than just militarily or politically. :giggle:

Palestine is not a country, can't be apartheid.
Imagine I moved into your house by force and said your house and everything in it is mine now. You can still stay here but I get to decide what rooms you can use, what food you can eat etc.
That's literally what the Israelis are doing to the palestinians.
So of course they are going to fight back

So you're saying the Arabs have zero freedoms in Israel?

I think you should define antisemitism. Because some people (even Christians) use it to mean that Jews can't ever be wrong. Which is clearly unscriptural, given Jesus Himself calling out some of the Pharisees as being children of the devil.

It's not possible to make an intelligent response to this stream. Define antisemitism. Is it hate? Is it opposition to the Israeli governments policies, is it support of a Palestinian nation, is it opposition to the "Jewish" faith (whatever that is)?

We Christians are blind.

The word "antisemitism" is so overused, I tend to take it as an insult made by those who believe that Jews can never be wrong. The belief that a race or religion of people can never be wrong is of course, idolatry, as God is the only One who can never be wrong.

We Christians are blind.
We Christians? Or some Christians? Those who listen to and obey their Lord will be as shrewd as serpents, in addition to being as innocent as doves.

Well, you explain where you think the Jews are wrong and then we can discuss it further. The thread is about standing up to Antisemitism, so what does that word mean to you?

Antisemitism is a word that already has a definition in the dictionary. Why does it need to be defined here? I think if you look the word up it's pretty straightforward.
But no one seems to be calling out American companies that support the BDS movement.
American corporations have become stupid and "Woke" political entities so there is little that can be done except to boycott their products. There is no question that antisemitism exists, but who are the people hating Jews? It is the Leftists.

When it comes to "antisemitism" people need to understand that LEGITIMATE criticism of specific individuals or specific Jewish organizations in not "antisemitism" and that is not "hate speech". It is the exposure of evil Jews (and that is a rather small group). There is no question that it is JEWISH BILLIONAIRES who are not only undermining America, its Constitution, free and fair elections, the rule of law, and the economy, but they are also undermining freedom and democracy worldwide. George Soros and Mark Zuckerberg are only two of these evil men promoting Communism after benefiting from capitalism. And there is a whole string of these billionaires.

Then there is the disturbing reality that American Jews have generally supported the Democratic party when the Democrats are committed to destroying America and also hate Jews. Supporting Democrats also means supporting Palestinians instead of Israel, but these Jews do not see the irony. Is it possible that some Jews are behind the BDS Movement against Israel?

Then there is the Anti Defamation League: "The Anti-Defamation League Is Not What It Seems.
Under the guise of fighting hate speech, the ADL has a long history of wielding its moral authority to attack Arabs, blacks, and queers."https://www.bostonreview.net/articles/emmaia-gelman-anti-defamation-league/

So as a matter of fact conservative and sane Jews should be exposing their own evil people, but is it really happening? I do not believe sane Jews speak out against insane Jews, just kike sane blacks to do speak out against insane blacks. That could change many perceptions.

"That decision by Ben & Jerry’s led to intense criticism in Israel, with the nation’s ambassador to the United States, Gilad Erdan, going so far as to accuse the company of being antisemitic. The founders of Ben & Jerry’s, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, said in an essay in The New York Times that, “As Jewish supporters of the State of Israel, we fundamentally reject the notion that it is anti-Semitic to question the policies of the State of Israel.” " https://www.nytimes.com/2021/09/16/nyregion/ben-and-jerrys-israel-unilever.html
