I agree --God is good but He is also a God of Righteous Judgment -----and righteous Anger ------and hates Sin and disobedience in the Old testament showed His wrath and poured it out on people who disobeyed Him and sinned --------

And people today who reject Jesus will suffer the righteous Judgment of Hell -upon their 2nd death ------so well God is good He will punish those who disobey Him and sin against Him in their end -----

The Truth is that neither Adam nor his wife were cursed. they both confessed their sin, and were given sorrow and new garments made by God's own hand with the first shedding of blood in all the scripture, then given the promise of the protoevangelion - which Adam believes and displaying his faith, changes his wife's name to "mother of living" for which God Himself says BEHOLD!!!
