The gospel is the earthly existance of Jesus Christ from his birth to his ascention to the throne of heaven that’s the gospel the good news th at Gods kingdom has come and been opened up for mankind

“Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”

what if i reject the word of God that offers life if I say Jesus does and rose do I get to reject the truth of his word in the gospel this word ?

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

You’re saying that can’t save anyone ? Gods own word promising everlasting life and salvstion from death can’t save anybody ? What if they reject it and say Jesus does and rose ? What then ?

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”

your saying Jesus doent speak those words and they aren’t true ? Or don’t apply to people ? Or are you saying if I acknowledge Jesus died and rose I can just forget everything he taught in the gospel ?

when I was about 5 I was told Jesus died and rose and was the son of God I believed it but that’s not a reason to reject what he said that parts all true also Paul eas never teaching us to not believe the gospel because Jesus died and rose he was teaching us that’s why we need to believe the gospel

This is Christian doctrine it’s the foundation and source of everything the apostles believed and taught others

Ehat Jesus said in the gospel is eternal and unchanging

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

In the end Christs teachings e things he said about eternal life , God , mankind all he taught is Gods word of life and no one can be saved without believing it

you can know just a little bit or a lot but you have to believe the gospel Jesus lives and preached and offered to all people

the four gospels are where you or anyone else can learn the gospel of Jesus Christ and green it’s just about believing what you are learning from the gospel of our lord

Anything the ot foretells about the messiah is the gospel whether his birth

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

That's the gospel and was fulfilled here in the gospel account

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

They were foretelling the gospel as well as all the rest like Jesus baptism

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Jesus gets baptized receives the spirit God declares " this is my son in whom I'm well pleased "
Then Jesus starts setting Gods judgements in the earth by teaching them to mankind in the gospel

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

That's the gospel being foretold

From Jesus birth to the miracles he did to the teachings he taught the judgements he made to the suffering and death he endured for sin to his glorious resurrection and ascension to Gods right hand to sit as king on Zion the heavenly Jerusalem


All of that is in the ot law and prophets and it's the gospel being foretold , the gospel is the fulfillment of things the.ot promised about Jesus and.his everlasting kingdom the resurrection of the dead eternal life an end fngis world and new one to come where righteousness rules and reigns rather than sin like this world


All im saying is the message of Jesus is the gospel

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an

apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

This message includes certainly his death and his resurrection but is not limited to just that part of the message is my point Jesus is the gospel he lived spoke taught promised everlasting life to believers then he suffered and died for them that believe then he rise and went to heaven establishing a church and giving them a promise of salvation and his faithful return at the end of the world to usher in eternity with him beyond death



That's all the gospel

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Certainly, mainly because of the internet, social media, etc. The internet has made available today, probably most of the false teaching about Christianity from around the world.

The level of worldliness alone is at epic proportions. There are even churches that have prosperity gospels intertwined in their teaching.

The degree of deception is off the scale.

I have never seen the world, as it is today, with so many deep problems. A complex myriad of serious issues that are virtually impossible to solve. Most of these problems are generated from man's core nature.

I do believe this world has a use-by-date and is not too far into the future.

A beautiful presentation of the good news that we have received.

Yet, the good news is solely based on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the beginning and the end of all the revelation in the scripture. Jesus is the source, the way, the Truth, the life.

I concentrate on Romans 10:9 for a reason. The church historically has always been preoccupied with everything else. So many Christians around the world would be confused, when it comes to explaining the gospel.

If you had to explain the gospel in just ten lines of text, could you do that?

I have a different take on the four gospels.

Jesus was sent to the Jews, Jesus was born a Jew and under the law.

The gospels describe the two to three years of the teaching and miracles that Jesus performed. So we have Jesus presented to us, mainly from a Jewish perspective. So the church has a level of legalism deeply engrained in it's structure.

To see through this historical distortion is not an easy task.

Keep the gospel as simple as possible and avoid all the distractions and errors.

Oh sure.

"Gospel" is one of the words turned into a religious word. It simply means "good news". Therefore, it is difficult to summarize the entire "good news" of God, Jesus, and the kingdom.

Interestingly, John never wrote "gospel" until half way through Revelation, yet his writings are full of good news.

If I had to summarize the gospel further I would say “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” just as the angel declared announcing the birth of Jesus.
