Way too many Scriptures that prove what you are saying. I don't understand how people can out of hand dismiss half of the Bible to make it say what they want it to say.
Yep. Why in the world would anyone make the epic blunder of being entirely polarized one way or another?

So do I. And your comment demonstrates that you actually don't know what Scripture says.

Bud, you've been given dozens and dozens of Scriptures. At what point do you stop being dogmatic to be right and check and see that maybe, just maybe all these Scriptures are right and your personal interpretation is wrong?! This is Bible we're talking about, can you stop being immature for a moment and consider what people are pointing out to you?! Forget it, unteachable spirit, the Lord Himself can't change your mind, I sure can't.

You can't be serious! The scriptures are correct, but from them you've somehow managed come to works, not grace, as their message.
You may have given a lot of Scriptures, but you're unable to realize, nor to have a clue, as to what they're actually saying, teaching or represent. We've been trying to explain that to you but to no avail. If you haven't found Christ as being their basis and apex, along with the mercy and grace that came with/from Him, then without a doubt, you've missed the whole point of the Bible and remain blind and under law - you reject grace. Grace and mercy through Christ reigns supreme in the gospel, and there is nothing that anyone can do to add to or take away from that. Christ alone is the Saviour, man is not. Try to learn and understand what that really means.

Problem number one here at CC, reading (listening). NEVER said salvation was by works. Don't believe it, didn't say it !!

No, no, I get it. No matter what the Scripture says it doesn't really say that. Don't believe my lyin' eyes, got ya.

There's that reading problem again! NEVER rejected grace nor mercy. Ridiculous.

Christ alone is the Saviour, man is not..

You believe you have to do something to obtain it, don't you - that is not given fully as a gift with nothing possible
from its receipent to invoke it - right? How do you think salvation happens?

For the hundredth time FAITH is not a WORK !! The Bible... well why quote the Bible you don't believe what it says anyway. A few pages back you were quoted faith vs work Scriptures and you didn't even read them, just said the same nonsense like a parrot. You dogma has blinded you beyond reason and common sense.

Yeah, I believe you have to do something. If reaching out and taking God's free gift is "doing something" then I guess I'm guilty. Don't like it? Too bad.

Apparently people don't know the difference between an ACTION and a WORK. Figure that was covered in grade school for most of us.

See, you do believe that you must do something to become saved, don't you? And
for the hundredth time - FAITH IS A WORK - it is God's work and He alone imparts it to those He saves.
Nevertheless, one's faith is not what saves them, Christ's faith alone brought salvation and it is reckoned as a gift
to those whom God had chosen for salvation. One's faith comes FROM being saved, it is not to becoming saved.

[Jhn 6:29 KJV] 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Were that even possible (which it is not), per your criteria, it cannot be a free gift if it is up to you to have reach out and take it to have it. It is made a law by that requirement and as a law must be satisfied by the work of he who is under it to receive it. But salvation,
if it is truly a free gift as you say, it must be, well, it must be totally a free gift, which it is.
So, in using your own criteria for becoming save, it is both a law and a work.

God through the Bible has "brainwashed" me. You did notice that the verse I included was from the Bible and not from me, didn't you?

You don't believe that God is merciful and gracious unto salvation? In the below verse, where do you find the recipient of salvation having to contribute anything to it? It is by God alone.

[Tit 3:5 KJV] 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Any normal person doesn't read the Bible and get the distorted views you have. They have to be put in a person's head by someone who already has warped ideologies.

Spoken by someone who under law (not grace), with works for salvation as his gospel, and desires that it to be so.
