Jesus was sent to the Jews, Jesus was directly addressing those under the law.

Matthew 11:30
For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Acts 15:10
Since this is the case, why are you putting God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear?

One yoke is easy and one yoke is too heavy.

  • One of the most beloved passages in the New Testament is Matthew 11:28-30. In it the Lord summarizes the invitation to discipleship that characterized His earthly ministry, but to understand the invitation of this passage, we need to understand the background. Amen intent of life in earth is to find life in Christ even noticed Paul’s speech here ? It’s a really good one he preached it in a temple built to honor many false gods

she fonds an idol that is “ to the u known god “ and so he uses it to teach them about the true God

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men's hands,

as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

( it’s why we’re here ) that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

( he speaks of all the idols tbey worship and rebukes them)

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:24-28, 30-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I think tbat speaks to what your saying here about the value and intent , the truth of our life in earth , ultimately the reason we are born and live in earth at the times we do is so we can find and live in him forever

amen the key is in discipleship actually beginning to apply what he’s saying to life

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

To believe and not begin to apply is not the way

It's the yoke put on the ones who stay in his word and work out in the field.

Genesis 49:11
Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes.

Under the vine of the two olive trees is the two lampstands, and the two lampstands represent the 12 tribes of Israel.
The two olive trees and the two lamp stands are the two witnesses of Revelation.
Did you know that the ones who get to see New Jerusalem are also a remnant?only a remnant of the earth will be saved. The others will have their blood spilled on the earth as a anointment where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Those who hear the testimony of the Two Witnesses from the 144,000 will be saved.
The donkey finds rest under the vine.Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey.King Nebuchadnezzar was fed 7 years, grass with morning dew on it by a donkey, before he looked up to the heavens repented.

Under the vine of the two olive trees is the two lampstands, and the two lampstands represent the 12 tribes of Israel. The two olive trees and the two lamp stands are the two witnesses of Revelation.

The two witnesses are symbolized by two olive trees and two lamp stands. They have the commission to stand before and expose the "Lord of the Earth" -- more on this later. The Old Testament also uses the same symbolism of the olive trees and lamp stands in reference to the two witnesses.

What does the two olive trees represent in the Old Testament? In the Old Testament book of Zechariah we encounter two olive trees, but only one lampstand. This implies the second lampstand was not present at this time. Therefore, it seems the two olive trees represent, 1) the Law 2) the Prophets while the two lampstands represent, 1) the Old Covenant Church 2) the New Testament Church.

What are the two olive trees and the two lampstands? They are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before God. It is as if Jesus is saying, "Don't you read your Bible? Haven't you read Zechariah 4?" Obviously, that is what He is referring to—specifically Zechariah 4:14, where almost the exact same thing is written.

The Gentiles were never under the yoke of the law. So when Jesus said 'my yoke is easy', Jesus was speaking directly to the Jews.

Many Christians believe they are under the law, which is just not true.

What the Bible says about Two Olive Trees
The scriptures in the OT with only one lampstand mentioned like when there is only one lampstand in the Tabernacle,it is because there was no blood on the cross at that time.Only water.
The two olive trees are the source where we get our oil from to fill up our lamps. You see it in Zechariah 4 where the pipes feed the oil into the lamps.
The Two olive trees represent the water and the blood. They represent God's covenants.
And you see them on the cross at the death of Jesus. The repenting thief is the water and the other thief on the right is the blood.
There is no prophet being represented at the cross. But the Law is.(water)
At the cross you see the spirit, water, and the blood.Jesus gave up the ghost on the cross.
If one of the olive trees represents the prophets, why weren't they there on the cross as a witness?
You can't say that Jesus disciples who watched him die on the cross represents the prophets, because if that were true, that would make them in the image of one of the two cherubim, and not in the image of the crown of gold that surrounds the table/lid.
The crown of Gold was there too.it was all those who watched his death.

almost always in revelation there is a correlation to another prophecy and the gospel like what your saying about zechariah and the two witnesses but each vision shows more detail various ones

Zechariah saw the two olive trees in his vision John makes direct reference to what zechariah saw and doesn’t actually see the two olive trees he just says “ these are the two olive trees before the lord “ referencing zechariah 4 telling us this vision is connected

John is hearing further revelation of Zechariah’s vision

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭11:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He doesn’t see them he’s referencing what zechariah saw and adding understanding to it the actual title for revelation is “ the apocalypse of Jesus Christ “ apocalypse means “ the uncovering “ “ the revealing “

It’s purpose is uncovering or further revealing the meaning to all those ot visions like zechariah had or ezekiel or Daniel had there are always verses connecting them

The two olive trees zechariah saw , the four horsemen who rode out of heaven into earth in revelation 7 , the lamb with seven eyes in revelation 5 , the man who marks the 144000 while the others wait to destroy everyone else when he’s finished , johns seven headed beast with ten horns , Ezekiel’s vision of the throne of God and the one like the son of man upon it , the four creatures around the throne ect

Nearly all the imagery in revelation has at least one Old Testament companion here’s an example of a few others

“As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

aid course we need to read the chapters and visions and revelation to understand what those figures mean but my point is there’s always ot companions that help with additional details like zechariah 4 and revelation 11 and then you find in the gospel more to them

“For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand;

and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side; and the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭9:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:1-4‬ ‭

“And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭9:15‬

there’s always heaven and earth always two companions at least like what was done in Jerusalem that slaughter is what’s in store for earth and Jesus is marking people for salvstion before it happens
