An old friend of the family has died. I feel so dry and crumpled up. Please pray for me he was a really good friend of my dad.

I will pray that God brings good people into your life who will counsel you the way you need to be, and spares you the clueless among us who say the most thoughtless things at times like this.

Allow yourself to grieve if / when you feel the need to. Do not fight it.

For by [Jesus] all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

I pray that god will make beauty of ashes. That he use all things for his good. I pray that you will get closer to god through this difficult time. See how he can work mighty things in you even in your down times, just like he did with me. I sympathize with you. My condolences. You’re gonna be ok. God is with you. You will rise up and he will give you strength. He is your comfort. You will soar high on wings like eagles. You will run and not grow weary. You will walk and not be faint. He will lift you up. He is your refuge in your day of disaster. Praise the lord, even in our sufferings. God bless you
