There are actually seven places in the King James Bible where it actually has the name YEHOVAH with the Y changed to a J in the English Bible. In about the 14th. Century, the J was added as a I with a long tail. A long tail was added to differentiate the first I from the second I. When the printing press came along the long-tailed I was made a J and the King James Bible was one of the first books printed on the first printing press.

Exodus Six:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty (El Shaddai), but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. It is in capital letters because the translation is from YHVH, but here the actual vowels are printed out that goes with the tetragrammaton YHVH (Yod-hay-vav-hay) translated into English-Yehovah.

Psalm Eighty Three:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.

There is one name in the holy Bible that is the name above all names , the name of the Lord is Jesus. Or if one speaks Hebrew “ yeshua”

Jehovah , I AM , the Lord thy God , the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob

His name the creator of all things is Jesus. The name of God most high

You could go back and out Jesus name there after we hear the revelation of the New Testament

The Great I AM , who now has become and IS everything we need to live forever together with him.

He is the creator in the very first verse of the Bible but you don’t hear his name yet your being taught “ God is the creator and man and beast alike and even the earth and stars and sun and moon were created by Him he is before all things and by him all things exist he is above all principality and rule prince the One true God and creator.

but you don’t hear his name yet , your learning about God. And what He is in relation to us here

We aren’t being introduced personally to him yet we are seeing here his power and position he’s above us , we came from him he is the creator , we are the created , and stewards of his earthly creation. He is God , we are man

early in the Bible we learn about a mysterious and unknowable God when man asks his name he replies “ I am that I am , tell them the God of thier fathers sent you “

Or just answer with the question “ why are you asking about my name ?” Because his name was always going to be declared to mankind when he was born in the flesh. So really he’s avoiding declaring his name because it’s not time yet for the gospel , but he’s showing them his poster to create his word and it’s irrevocable quality where if he says anything it’s absolute according to what he said

a he shows them a lot through genesis about his kinship and desire to have a friendly and familial relationship with mankind , he shows us a lot about how he created the world for peace , love , kinship between mankind so he ( Jesus ) could dwell among us and walk among us in peace and harmony like a family

But the ot tells us how mankind turned the orher way and corrupted the world with violence , murder , abuse and hate , all the many evils men do to one another in this creation he gave to us to tend and care for to rule in peace and live and harmony justice and truth fairness all the qualities of himself should fill Every corner and void of the earth through mankind but instead we followed a lie and filled it with evil and war and l that comes from sin

My point is even the prophets said things like “ a son will be born of a virgin his name will be Immanuel “

And then we dont actually have all those many names he is called in tbe ot explained until the lord came with the gospel

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

my point is a prophet foretelling “ his name shall be called “Emmanuel “ doesn’t mean that’s Gods name it’s foretelling what the name Jesus means “ “God is with us “

or this for instance

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

This doesn’t mean the sons name is “ wonderful Christ “ or “counsellor christ “ or “ the mighty God , Christ “ or “ the everlasting father Christ “ or “ the prince of peace Christ “

The promised son, the Christ or ( messiah ) his name is Jesus. The prophets are foretelling us who he is

Jesus is the name of the Son , and he is everything the Old Testament promised, the fullness of the God of the ot manifest in the new . he came himself and said here I am and this is may name anyone who comes to me and believes will be saved into my everlasting kingdom then he returned to heaven having made our way to follow him home.

The Jehovah's Witnesses have latched on to the VERY FEW times that YHWH (or YHVH) has been translated as "Jehovah" (only 4 verses, not 7). But they have gone off the rails in everything else.

God has many names and titles in the Bible. But Jesus said that the personal name of God (Himself) is I AM THAT I AM or I AM. See Exodus 3. That is what He called Himself in the New Testament.

Matthew 1:21
She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.

Acts 10:43
All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.

Acts 13:26

Father son and holy ghost manifest in the world is Jesus Christ the son of God. It’s why when anyone is baptized after he said that they are baptized into the one name Jesus who is the Christ of Nazareth , or God manifest in the flesh among us

The recognized earthly father of Christian’s, is Abraham . their Heavenly Father is God

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

…For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

because Abraham’s promise was about Christ his seed when we get baptized into Christ we become the hiers of Abraham who makes us the children of God in Christ alone

Nearly every translation has Jealous capitalized, yet most Christians don't live like He is. This is the most overlooked name of God in the Bible. Maybe because it's not "me-centered".

In Chinese version, it means 忌邪
whose name is 忌avoid 邪evil

Why not? I don't believe God is a jealous God.

The Book of James 4:5

Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to jealous?

Proverbs. 24:19
Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou jealous at the wicked:

envy = jealous

This means that the Bible tells us not to jealous , but the English version of God is described as a jealous God, so everything that tells us not to jealous is changed to not envy.

Envy is not the same thing as jealous.

I can envy other people's life is good, but I will not jealous other people's life.

This is absolutely a huge translation error in kjv.
