In my day the worst thing you could be called is a fanatic.
I used to hear it all the time....look at these religious fanatics...or... dont be such a fanatic.
Many times it came from people that believed but thought odd to express your beleifs in public.

Sadly today we are known as haters spreading hate speech......Wow really.

We all have read the story of the first followers about....who would be the greatest in the kingdom. Sadly that arguement is still happening and has become a real distraction of our calling.

But what about the false teachers, the works teachers, should we stand againts them...publicly? Noticeable? Verbally?
Is that part of our calling? Or are we to stand by and let GOD decide?

I do believe false teachings should be called out publicly and false teachers exposed. In scriptures, you see this everytime Jewish Christians would start trying to promote the Old Mosaic system.

We should first understand the extent of our influence in Christ: where God has positioned us in the Body. And then, if we are called to watch over the souls of the younger in Christ, direct them as the Lord leads. This will likely, but not often, prompt us to mark those who cause division or are heretics. It will serve the whole for the leaders to gather together as often as needed to consider regional or global issues that affect the Body at large. In these meetings there should be much discussion (and perhaps testimony of witnesses) before a judgment is rendered. From there the saints would be informed of the direction by the ones who watch over their souls and the Body would move in unison in that region.

So, no, we should not protest like Americans. We should gather a council like the one in Jerusalem, presided over by James the Brother of Jesus, hear the concerns, discuss much, and ultimately judge the matter. Then, the council can give direction to the saints at large. Further issues would be handled by the elders among the people of God.

Yes, but not in the political arena. We are to maintain the purity of the Church.

Jude 1:
1Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

I don't wonder about it. It's my confirmed belief that Christians (especially Christian nationalists) spend much too much time protesting: protesting everything. Christians do need to stand for the truth, but it isn't necessary to picket and protest; I don't find that taught by the Lord or anywhere in the pages of the New Testament. Our job is to try and win as many as possible to the Lord Jesus, not fight all the ills of the world.

The problem is that this has been done and they are still teaching the same heresies. Hundreds of years later.
