John 1 v 41-42
'He first findeth his own brother Simon...'
The above is fantastic and the ideal. Yo bring your brother to Christ before all other.
Yet I find this so hard. Those closest to me just do not want to hear it. Like talking to a brick wall, they don't listen to me and recently call me sanctimonious and preachy if I mention my faith in Jesus and offer to study the Bible with them.
It feels so much easier to talk to strangers about the good news of the gospel. I wonder if a lot of people find it easier to spread the word away from home? Even Jesus had this exact problem in that His home town refused to accept Him.
