Thick links made of steel
Broken pieces that never healed

Soft hands full of love
Hold me tight from above

There was hurt feeling pain
Weighing down from the chains

But there was hope a voice of peace
Because of you all had ceased

Sin held me down all was a problem
Searching for answers and how to solve them

You shined your light told me to look
There was my answers inside your book

I started to read I could not stop
Inside my heart Christ found a spot

Tears poured out my eyes made rain
No more weight no more chains

You spoke my name I'll tag along
Rejoice rejoice I'll sing you songs

I'll read words hold on real tight
I'll stay out of the dark and in your light

In the shadows I'll never fear
