The Bible says we can fall away. I don't know how to get past that.
But you said Jesus won’t leave you.

So since you are in Him, and apparently can leave Him, but He is ALSO in you.

So He would have to leave you, right?

No, I believe God strives with man till the last moment He has breath. Again, I don't believe God moves, we do. And we can make the choice to repent and return. But God will call to us until the end. At some point the Bible says God will give a person over to a reprobate mind. I don't believe God sends or creates people for hell. I believe we make the choice.

Peter denied christ three times

Will Jesus deny him in heaven?
And should we take comfort to know that jesus prayed and forgave peter before this event took place and say ..."well he forgave peter he'll forgive me also?

The Lord said..."I will have mercy on those I have mercy.

Knowing what could happen and what did happen should give us a narrowing of the gate we all must enter in to. Not some broad prospective of our understanding of what we want to beleive.

But if someone is born again they HAVEN’T denied Him. By definition.
Otherwise they’d be 1:John 2:19 peeps.
Which is more important...that you know jesus or that jesus knows you?

So you think Jesus remains in, and sups with, the fallen away born again child of God.

Well when they fall away, and lose their Salvation, do they have to be born again again?

They are equally important.

You cannot know Jesus without Him knowing you first.

You can know OF Him, but that is different than knowing Him.

The Bible says we can fall away. I don't know how to get past that.
I'm just joining this thread now and have not read through all 226 pages, so if these verses have already been posted,
please reconsider them again. They are perfectly clear as to their intent - that those saved cannot fall away.

For those whom God has chosen to salvation, they cannot fall away because it is God alone who keeps them. It is not of themselves nor of anything they might or might not do.

[Phl 1:6 KJV] 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:

[1Pe 1:3-5 KJV]
3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Since you just joined the thread you wouldn't know this, but we're not allowed to have faith. Faith is a work so if you have faith you're trying to earn salvation.

Well when they fall away, and lose their Salvation, do they have to be born again again?

I will answer with this...

Romans 11 22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

So it would seem it is possible to return.

Pretty sure it wasn't the HS whispering in your ears
"Hey! Psssst!! If you screw up, or no longer believe in that Messiah fella, you will be kicked out of God's family and tossed into hell!"

Doesn't sound like the HS I know.
Why would not believing in that Messiah fellow [Jesus] keep you from being Saved?

We are to believe in order to be Saved.

You CANNOT DENY GOD and live your life based upon He doesn't matter or exist and still be Saved.

What kind of bull-o-ney are you selling here?

That Messiah Fellow is the ONLY WAY to God!

Not allowed to have faith? Maybe the point is that our faith comes by Christ's faith(fulness) - true faith is not of our doing but is a
fruit of the Spirit.

[Gal 5:22 KJV] 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

[Rom 3:22 KJV] 22 Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

[Gal 2:16 KJV] 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

This passage refers to Jews who never believed in Jesus to begin with. Not those who were born again as a new creation by Jesus. Jews who at one time didn’t believe in their Messiah, but now do, can certainly be grafted onto the olive tree, which is Jesus Christ.

So I ask again. Does the born again child, who has been made new by Jesus, and has subsequently fallen away and lost his Salvation, have to be born again again?

2 Peter 2:20

Shows us Saved people who kept sinning become entangled in their sin and ended up worse off than before.

Where's the Part at God still saved them because IT DOESN'T EXIST?

I don't rely on the KJV. It has too many errors.
