My soul hath kept Thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

This man also says the same:

Matthew 19:20
The young man said to Him,
"All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?"

But the psalmist also expresses confession of sin, pleas for mercy and salvation, hope for redemption - all of which are incompatible with the Son of God, Who has no sin & Himself is judge of the whole world - therefore needs no salvation, comes into no judgment therefore cannot be said to need mercy, and being perfect in all His ways cannot have need of or be redeemed.

It is clearly illogical to ascribe all of Psalm 119 to Christ.

ya think He broke the law, such that He needed mercy, redemption & salvation?

because the psalmist did:

let Your mercies come also to me
(Psalm 119:41)
my soul faints for Your salvation
(Psalm 119:81)
save me
(Psalm 119:94)
my soul faints for Your salvation
(Psalm 119:123)
deal with Your servant according to Your mercy
(Psalm 119:124)
redeem me
(Psalm 119:134)
save me
(Psalm 119:146)
redeem me
(Psalm 119:154)

there is much more than this but this is more than enough for the point.

seriously have you not even read it?
this pretty much settles it. It can’t Be christ..

May I ask why psalm 119 is so important to you to Be Christ?

pretty strong words from Someone some say is a sinner. If He broke His oath (which He didn't) that would have made Him a sinner.

Psalm 119:106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep Thy righteous judgments/mispat.
Again, If i remember right. David said the same thing in his repentance..

add illogical to the list. spock would like it.
The fact that an idea is criticized does not make it right. Carefully examining doctrine to see if it is correct is not persecution.

whatever is true stands up to scrutiny.

if you don't get it, please ignore. besides, you are in good company with Cal and Luth and Auggy and Spurg and Wessy and the pops and the revs and the docs and the profs and the schols and lingual xperts and teachies and preachies and all the rest who never got it. it can't be that important if it never was. chalk it up to imagination.

In real life, if people try to communicate directly with you, and your every response is spoken to the room in general, people will think you're weird and will abandon the effort to befriend you.

The same will happen here. People might be kind (or at least tolerant), but won't bother with you when you demonstrate by your behaviour that all additional effort is wasted.

How about answering a sincere question as to why psalms 119 is so important for it to be christ..
Because it is Him from beginning to end. if that is not important, what is? nearly every person who interprets and gives messages on Psalm 119 is wrong in their interpretation because they do not recognize it is the Son's prayer. the result is they misapply what is being said in the Psalm. it also leads to misunderstanding of the law and the promise of life in the law to the Son. That explains most of Scripture about the Son and Salvation and what He did to save us and how He did it and how He conquered death through His obedience to the law.

now for that sincere answer please post 5 times why it can't be Him.
