So precious how mommy whale gently lifts new baby to the surface to breathe.

Mama whale felt safe in giving birth at that time. She even gently swam under the boat and then let baby get close to the boat to visit the people.

Very emotional.

God bless and keep mama and baby whale safe. 🙏

Aww, that is so wholesome. Good to see this positive news in a "sea" of negativity nowadays. :) Hopefully the whales do alright this year and beyond. Protect both of them at all costs. Sometimes it gets quite tedious to fish for this type of information nowadays from all the other news. I'll stop with the ocean puns.

I didn't see this in the video but I know had I been on the boat I'd have leaned out and given loving pets to them both.
To touch a wild whale would be incredible.

Years ago I was on a school trip and the captain o the boat said on the intercom for everyone to look out starboard side. We did and were privileged to see an orca with her calf. Wish I had a camera back then. Just one of those things that leaves you in awe of Gods work and to see it in the wild that close is something I will always remember! This was in New Zealand.
