Has anyone ever felt that there's just nothing more you can do for the world? I've never had anything to offer in first place, but the more I live and the more my family dissolves and there's nothing I can do to help, I just feel that my sorry existence is well overdue for an end.

You speak of a permanent solution for a temporary problem...

Perhaps it is time to replenish your stores of mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical energy.

Definitely bad situation. Even if there is no light at the end of the tunnel it is likely the tunnel you are in is formed by God's wings to protect you till this dark condition passes. You need to find some diversion till then like posting on this chat.

I'm sorry I was born,
But I am still alive,
Have experienced painful years,
There will be hope somewhere,
So endure it.
Endure it till the hope.

I don't know what you've been through,
You said "you can't even do anything."
I say "No,you can, tell your feeling to the family as you told us here."

The only thing I feel competent to say on this issue is that anyone having these thoughts and feelings should probably speak to a mental health professional

Suicide is never the Solution dear... Tell God all about it... Read the Book of Psalms, pray David's prayers, and own these prayers, and if there is any available, please do seek out a psychologist, a genuine Christian psychologist preferably... It'll really help you... I pray God leads you to one of them... Amen...

I had to go for some sessions seeing a psychologist some years back... It helped at that time 🙂

God'll help you... Amen.

Wow! God created you for a purpose and put you on this beautiful planet for reason. I realize that there is a lot of bad things going on around us but don't let it drag you down. You just need to stay positive, get a better attitude towards life, work hard at your job and depend on God to get you through the rough times. Don't give up on life and throw in the towel. You are precious in the Lord's sight and he loves you very much. Please don't give up. God bless.

There is always more that you can do for Christ. Find a Bible teaching church that has a large population of young adults and children. Plug into one of their ministries.

Hi Tibian,

Life can be harsh at times. The wealthiest man in history, King Solomon wrote about times when he felt in despair too. He had it all and felt unfulfilled. There are lots of reasons that someone can feel that way. I knew someone who felt that way because of the medication her doctor gave her. It was an antidepressant that had an effect that caused her to want to do irreversible harm to herself. She had to properly get help to get off it safely. Alcohol, especially when mixed with a medication can cause serious depression.
Are you drinking? I'm not judging you, but if you are, you need to pour it out and go to bed.

Did you know that this time of year is the most common time for depression?
Why? Simply because the body cannot make a hormone called vitamin D3. Some people take the right amount with an avocado, (so the body can absorb it), each day and it makes them feel right again. In addition, others get weekly tanning bed sessions for short periods of time, that help the skin produce D3. A lack of nutrition, like D3 is one of a number of big reasons people feel like giving up.

You are military, so you should know how to do PT/ physical training. Just do it. Drink a LOT of water and whenever you eat a meal take a multivitamin with extra magnesium tablets. Follow the label.
After work, get to the gym or just crank out push ups until exhaustion. Then I want to know how many. Warm up with jumping jacks and then do one legged squats. I want to know how many. Then do crunches followed by bicycles.....knee to elbow, back and forth while on your back. Then you need to jog a quarter mile and repeat.

You know that what you are going through is not normal, so you can't just give up because you feel like this right now. It sounds like you really care about your family too. Right? Otherwise you wouldn't feel bad for their situation.

There's a couple videos that I will link too.
One has a prayer at the end. I want you to listen closely, then to pray with the man at the end of the last video. I will be happy to pray with you too after you are done. I'm going to sleep soon because I have to get up before daylight. But I'll check back tomorrow.

Now watch these two short videos, then pray...
Then get to sleep. Tomorrow's a new day and I want a report on the PT as soon as you are done.

Good News

Second video with prayer

I'm the Health and Happiness guy.
I will be looking forward to your report tomorrow.

I take Vitamin K2+D3 together, Zinc, and Magnesium.

Friend of mine, he is an Orthopedic Surgeon.
That's a valuable friend. Most doctors don't study nutrition, but the ones who do are to be highly esteemed .
Nutrition has so much to do with healing, and the topic of our friend who started this thread. It affects the emotions , stress, hormones and can help recovery. I just finished lunch and took a handful of supplements including one you mentioned, D3. Everyone in this part of the world becomes highly deficient in it through the winter. Did you know that not enough D3 is the most common cause of depression?

Yes, I did know that vitamin D3 deficiency is a common cause of depression. Recent studies have shown that supplementing with vitamin D3 can help alleviate symptoms of depression.

That's great, because most people don't realize that. That's why I try to share it with others.
Often That's one of those easy solutions for a problem that too many psychiatrists try to correct with dangerous drugs.

I only found out about vitamin D3 since the covid pandemic. At first, it was only for immunity, but it has many benefits.
I can ONLY find high-dose vitamin D3 in the US. I am taking 10000IU daily as recommended by Dr Cicero Coimbra. And I have felt the benefits, of course, it must be followed by regular eating and exercise.

Pharmaceutical companies don't like it when we take high doses of vitamin D3, because it will cause the drugs they produce to sell poorly and imagine it will harm them.

Thank you for sharing, hopefully, it can enlighten many people. :coffee:
