Alarming news from the crossroads of Europe and Asia, which nobody has talked about:
Nearly a month ago Azerbaijani activists placed a blockade on the only road connecting the Armenian populated region of Artsakh with the country of Armenia, violating the armistice signed after the 2020 war leaving Russian peacekeepers in control of the corridor. Artsakh's access to food, medicine and energy has been heavily limited since then, with Azerbaijan cutting off power several times throughout the winter and even forbidding any aid to the territory. Azerbaijan took advantage of the ongoing war on Ukraine and Russia's passivity in the Caucasus to launch another offensive against the weakened Armenian people, continuing its long commitment to the extermination of not only the Armenian population of Artsakh but also the elimination of any trace of Armenian history and cultural heritage in the region, through the destruction of churches, cementeries, monuments and other sites.
But Azerbaijan's objectives not only lie within Artsakh. They also have attacked the territory of Armenia proper, and have threatened Armenia with blocking its border with Iran by force. This border has long been a vital communication route for Armenia, given their respective borders with Turkey and Azerbaijan were closed, and the remaining Georgia is energetically dependent on Azerbaijan. Moreover, a land corridor between Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan exclave would connect Baku with Turkey, and in turn connect the whole Turkic world through the Caspian Sea, to the detriment of Armenia and other countries.
Sadly, Armenia is struggling. Azerbaijan gets tons of fresh weapons from Israel and is backed by Turkey and Jihadi mercenaries from Syria, while Armenia can barely defend itself with its degraded Russian arsenal and nobody to seek help from. It's extremely ironic to see so many so-called "Christians" idolizing and praising that country beginning with I, which if anything has enabled the Azerbaijanis to smash our Armenian brothers in the war, thanks to the modern world-class arsenal the Azerbaijanis have got from that blue and white country. In fact, 69% of Azerbaijan's weapons imports come from that 9 million, New Jersey sized country.
In short, please pray for Artsakh and Armenia. We don't want to miss the first Christian nation in the world. Hayastan!!!
