Matt 11- Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

You have quoted Matt 11:28-30. Did you consider verse 27? All things are delivered unto me of my Father; and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father, neither knoweth ANY MAN the Father, save the Son, and HE TO WHOMSOEVER THE SON WILL REVEAL HIM.

John 6:65 - No man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

God did not create you. We are all procreated from Adam and Eve
Psalm 139:13-16
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you
because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven
together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained
for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Whosoever will. ALL. Every man/woman. The message is to all who hear and believe. Period. Total depravity is a false man made doctrine, the Bible doesn't teach it. All who hear and believe. Not all will believe, but His blood was shed for all, the invitation is to whosoever will.

You are ignoring the scriptures that I gave to you.

Because the Bible doesn't teach total depravity, nor that there was a people made for destruction that cannot accept the Lord. It is no where in the Word.

I don't think there should be controversy over this. I have seen whole churches divide over this subject. If we just stick to the scriptures and walk in love, there will be no schism.
Fear the LORD, whoever provokes is not walking in love and whoever lays a stumbling block before another, Woe unto him.
What real profit is there in taking sides?

Hey this is about who will be 'saved' and who won't be 'saved' so about an atheist that is 'trying' to figure out what to do and now you and I and several others are trying to point the atheist in the right direction. What will be appealing? Wait and see.

That’s referring to God.

Romans 11
34“Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
Yes, those scriptures are God's words referring to the natural mind of humans.
Very good. 😊

An atheists is like anyone else. That is why it is so important that the Word is preached. When I was in ministry years ago, we went to a church that you would have thought the Word was preached. Anyway we preached and sang the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus saves. Three elderly women put up their hands for salvation at the alter call. After the service they came to speak to us. They were sisters and they said they had never heard the truth of the Gospel or how to be saved. They had attended that church for years and never heard the truth. How sad.

kaylagrl, You cannot pick and choose only the scriptures that fit your theory. All of the scriptures must be considered, and they must harmonize.

I think those things are written so that we will fear the LORD and realize that our faith is a precious thing not to be taken for granted, but not to a cause of division.
If each of us walks out our own salvation with fear and trembling, we should by our fruit declare whether our doctrine is of GOD, for there will be purity, peace and an approachableness to converse and be understood peaceably.
I do believe that we are chosen but, as I was told "it's a family secret". Let us walk in peace and let our works declare Truth. Then, if we get the chance to share, share. But let us love one another and be tenderhearted, it is not sin to not believe calvanism.

You have a nice heart. I remembered when I posted a similar message to little avail. Don't become jaded by it as many have.

On that point we totally agree! Let me ask you a question. I know there are different degrees of TULIP that people believe in. My cousins family just had a baby. They were told the child would not live. She is now going on four months old PTL. But if that baby dies tomorrow, does she go to heaven or hell? What would your response be and why so that I may gain understanding of where you are on the scale.
