Why am I depressed?

My heart goes to you. I was in a chair with a temporary disability one time. I spent most of the time in bed because of the pain and only crawled into the chair out of necessity. It was a time to draw close to the living God who actually cares about us.
In my particular case, I am was miraculously healed.

I would say that there are a lot of fake christian Preachers who claim to perform healings in exchange for money. The Bible warns us all about them, because they do not represent the Holy Spirit, the Lord Jesus or His Father. Since you are searching and from a Hindu background, I will try to find some short, easy to understand videos on the subject, that are from a Christian/ Bible teaching if you want. No charge at all. You can decide what to believe for yourself. I will pray for your healing.

Reminds me of the woman who had the issue of blood in Luke 8:42-48

She had spent all her money to be healed only to still need healing. Unfortunately, many alive today would tell her to give up and that it was God's will for her to be like she was, or something worse. But fortunately for her, she ran into Jesus Himself, had faith in him, and was healed, and Jesus was okay with with her being healed rather than suffering.

Luke 8:42

“Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”


Also, sometimes disciples don't get it done (not that you have necessarily been prayed over by a disciple yet), but that does not mean it was God's will to not be healed.

Matthew 17:14-18
When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus and knelt before Him. “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not heal him.”

“O unbelieving and perverse generation!” Jesus replied. “How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.” Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment



In my own life I have seen a woman that could not see in a hospice become able to tell me how many fingers I was holding up after prayer. I have seen a shattered knee become healed. Neuropathy healed and the guy said he felt tingles in his feet. Lower back pain healed. A man who was unable to walk began to get feeling back in his feet when my friend prayed over the phone for him. I have met a woman who was in a wheelchair who began to walk after she was prayed for by someone. A Jewish man with a toe injury got healed in Atlanta, he thought me and my friend were doing magic, but it was the Holy Spirit. I was being made fun of by two people before I prayed and the girl's toe injury got healed, and she did a 180 and asked her friend if he had anything he needed prayer for. A heart injury got healed and the guy thought I was an angel, but I definitely am not, etc.

Not because of me. I am one of the most flawed people on this forum, and in fact I have prayed and very often and saw absolutely nothing happen, which can feel embarrassing. But when God did heal them, it was because He is faithful to His word, and merciful. If we believe and have no doubt in our hearts, nothing will be impossible.

Mark 11:22-24
“Have faith in God,” Jesus said to them. “Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

James 1:6-8
But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.


It seems clear to me that God wants to heal you and just wants someone to have real faith and zero doubts at all in their heart. I have learned that faith AND no doubt is hard to have, imo. Doubt is hard to perceive sometimes. But God is faithful.

I'd say you need some deliverance as most of us do from time to time, healing, and to be baptized after hearing the real Gospel if you have already repented. I'd recommend these guys, you can browse around to see what they are about and find someone on their map that does all of these things near you for ZERO rupees/etc.

Early morning here Siddhi and thank you for answering my message. I am glad to hear from you and pray for some relief to be with you.

If possible, could you or would you give a bit of an idea on how you are enduring your difficult situation? Everyday things like are you getting the kind on food you like?

Maybe only vegetables with maybe olive oil? Do you like celery uncooked with salt? Are these foods easy to get? Does the medicine you get help? Or maybe sometimes you don't take it when you maybe get angry?

Even if you do get angry with God, He understands this and will hear when you pray. Maybe that is a way God gets us to pray to him, by making us angry? Please answer if you can and I will answer back.

Yes, I eat what I like. My mother cooks my favorite food. Sometimes mother brings food from outside when I say. Otherwise I cook food and eat it.
I sit at home and look for information on the internet, when I get bored I go to bed and sleep.

I use sunflower oil, no olive oil. And I will use the olive oil when I get it.

Now, I am not a Jain vegan. Because of vitamin deficiency. My family says, Siddhi eat non-vegetarian food. Later, when the pills started, the appetite increased. Then I started eating biblical food or Jesus food, because the Holy Spirit appeared to me. I am not angry with God the Holy Spirit because the Holy Bible says that

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Hello Siddhi, I missed this message earlier. Good to hear you also eat the kind of food Jesus would eat. Here we are now having cold weather. Maybe some snow today.

Do you have any difficulty because of weather too hot? Many people say prices of everything too high and have trouble buying and paying for all necessities. Like food and heating. Is there anything on the internet that you particularly follow? I see now for some people they just tell the story of what they do and people like to follow.

Maybe interesting, if they live in some unusual place. Years ago, some man moved to the wilderness in Alaska and made a documentary of surviving like that. But he had someone bring him supplies so it wasn't a big problem. But now it might be possible to put something like that on the internet if he had a satellite link maybe. Not sure if that is possible.

I don't follow much but when all the necessary items and food are not available in the nearest shop. So we buy goods and food online.

Yes There is a Catholic Church but I have gained weight, the problem is that my family can't pick me up.And now there is no need and I look at all the information on the Internet .

I am sorry you are not able to get out much, I understand some.
The LORD is near to the broken hearted and His ear attentive unto their prayers. I find Great comfort in the Psalms.

Responding to post #53, the 'comprehensive' medical report. Too involved for me to understand but is there something about vitamin D deficiency that needs to be corrected?

I don't know and another Dr and my mother says to me, you are normal.

Maybe I already asked, but do you take a multivitamin every day. That is something I have almost always done and seems to be good idea.

Hello Siddhi, I still pray for you every day. Hope you are feeling ok. I looked at your medical report again and guess that something about vitamin D was being tested. Did you ask about using sport drinks or electrolytes. I think those could be tasty and maybe beneficial.

You should ask your mother about them. She would probably know about electrolytes. Sport drinks you might be able to google and find out what is in them. I think some have vitamins. Do you drink tea? I drink coffee and water. Occasionally I drink herb tea or green tea.

I once drank electrolytes.(oral rehydration salts i.p) with water but it is salty and sweet and I drink tea or coffee in the morning and afternoon.

Nice to hear from you and I am surprised to hear that electrolytes taste salty. I have never tried them but was thinking they might be like sport drinks. And I think sport drinks are something like a drink that is available almost every store here called Gatorade which is sweet and possibly used by people who do a lot of sports so the rehydration is supposed to be good with that drink.

I hear that Gatorade is available in other countries but sometime with a different name. Like in Italy I hear that It would seem like something to do with cats because cat in Italian is Gato so they had to change the name. LOL>>>>
