I don't disagree. But every fisherman needs to know when to reel in and when to cut bait. Truth is only impactful when it's heard.
Amen. Time to fish a new hole where truth and common sense are welcomed.

You sound really arrogant. First of all Christmas is not even biblical, Jesus celebrated the Jewish holidays like Passover
Christmas was a stolen pagan holiday. It was originally a druid holiday called winter solstice
For the fact that you feel like Christmas is inherently Superior to a cultural holiday like Kwanzaa just shows your racism
The fact that I listed the positive aspects of Kwanzaa and how it's a celebration of culture and you still felt the need to 💩 onsomeone else's culture also shows your racism

Philippians 1:15-18

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter?

The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,

Let's clean this up. In the USA, on December 25, you can celebrate any thing you want to. In my house, we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The actual day that he was born is unknown, so we choose to use December 25, to celebrate His birth.

You choose what you want to do with Christmas day. I believe that if everyone came together celebrated Christ's birthday at the same time, that the world would be blessed beyond our wildest imaginations.

What’s my objective other than agreeing with your post #125?
At this point you're just trolling. I already explained why the statistics are irrelevant because most black people are productive citizens and don't commit crimes

But when I say it I’m racist. smh
You can't read? Maybe go back to school and learn reading comprehension. I already explained why those statistics are irrelevant because most black people are productive citizens and are not committing crimes
You just wanted to 💩 on their holiday because it's not Christmas
You're a troll

Being a black woman myself who refuses to hyphenate her American heritage, I find the virus of Political Correctness has done more to dumb down and divide the whole of American culture amid those who subscribe to that nomenclature than any other thing I can think of from the last 50 years, at least.

Amending common language and definitions in order to insure there's not a chance anyone listening could take offense is intellectual suicide. And vernacular stupidity.
Asking anyone to be politically correct. I'm just calling this guy on his 🐂💩

Wow. This is …. something.
‘What do you think about leaving this world and becoming a nun or a monk in a monastery or in a forest/desert and just live the rest of your life for God?
That's crossed my mind a few times, yes.

Also, what do you think is going to happen next in America?
Right now it feels like we're on pause. So that everything that has happened in ra[I'd succession to corrupt and alter our sense of security in faith and social interaction and of course nomenclature can catch up with our emotions and intellects need to adjust to this new order of things.

I don't think the Alex Jones trial should be taken lightly either. I think his was the pivotal example of PC run its deep coarse. I think the intention is to set a foundation to amend the first amendment. With the Jones trials setting a precedent to that end.

During Bush 43's terms in office he learned of a website that highlighted his verbal faux pas. ''Bushisms'', as they were called.

In an interview Bush was asked about his thoughts on the site. He remarked, there is such a thing as too much freedom.
Also during his time as president he established free speech zones, in cities, even D. C, where he was to appear and address the public.
These zones were far removed from the dias upon which he would give his address.
And insured he would not hear his detractors protests, not would the media pick it up in their coverage unless they chose to feature the protestor's in their reporting.

And of course during his presidency the U. S Patriot act was passed. And has continued to be renewed under Obama and Trump, even if amended in parts.

And don't forget Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act. An act that erases our Constitutional rights and protections under the rules of jurisprudence.
Arrest without warrant, no right to legal council, bail, and indefinite detention pre-trial.
This offense, illegal on its face, has also been reiterated ,let to remain in force, by President Trump. Who signed to renew its authority.

All of that, and more, are in my view like foundation stones being strategically placed so to bring America into the prophesied new worlds order. Communism? Like unto that yes.
However I think the social experiment that was intertwined with the viral warfare act of COVID-19 forewarns of Authoritarianism as well.

Essential Workers! A title that ''legally'' permitted certain of us to leave our homes so to labor and serve others in necessary areas of our local economy. Grocery stores, pharmacies, fuel providers, emergency services.

Whereas others were forbidden to exit their homes.

Then the phrase, ''If you see something say something's, arrived. PO, icing of our communities by our community. Neighborhood Watch expanded at a federal level invoking state participation.

Some states featured public service broadcasts telling viewers to telephone an emergency reporting number that appeared on screen, should they see their neighbors violating the lockdown rule.

One female mayor made news twice. Standing on a box in the middle of the street in an eastern neighborhood, using a bullhorn, she twice threatened residents whom that reporting system had brought to her attention.
These residents were having lockdown parties in their homes.

Residents were going to each other's homes over the span of days and partying. They were getting paid , stimulus checks, to stay home from work. So these folks were staying in as ordered. They were just gathering in large groups to party while locked down.

The mayor's second appearance included threat of arrests if this didn't stop!
Likely they were reported out of jealousy and revenge by those not invited to party.

No update followed to my knowledge if the arrests threat was ever pursued.

Meanwhile we later heard California's governor Newsom boosted a party at his mansion during one of the strictest state lockdown policies in the country. Not a mask in sight. Not even on the faces of the valets.

What a message that sent.

However, I think that social experiment and the push to overcome more of our liberties under the aus;ices of a viral threat was a test to see how far we'd bend to state and federal authority.

The test against our religious freedom of worship being the most aggregious.

I think what's coming will jump off sometime after the next presidential election.

An Authoritarian Dictatorship of sorts.

I don't want to derail the thread on the Alex Jones thing but free speech doesn't cover slander and defamation
He used his platform to slander and defame grieving families and profited from doing so

Couple things here.
Jesus celebrated Jewish holidays like Passover because Jesus was Jewish
Christmas is not biblical.
I'm not telling anyone not to celebrate it because everyone has their own reasons for celebrating it.
For most Christians it's about the birth of christ,
A lot of non-religious people celebrate it just as a cultural holiday, because while it does indeed have pagan roots, it is an integral part of American culture
Just like Kwanzaa is a cultural holiday for a lot of African-Americans and this guy just comes across as arrogant to come in here and 💩 on someone's holiday

What does this mean exactly?
You don't see Christmas mentioned anywhere in the bible. Jesus celebrated the Jewish holidays like Passover
Christmas was originally a druid at holiday called winter solstice.
It was the Roman Catholics who started injecting paganism into Christianity
The Christmas tree, I'm not telling anyone not to put up a tree because I know it's an integral part of American culture but it originally represented a pagan sun god named Tamus
When you say a manger scene with the three wise men
First of all the Bible never States it was three of them. It just says they brought three gifts
And it took them like 5 years to get there so they wouldn't have even been as a manger scene so a lot of so people do on Christmas is not even biblical

Asking anyone to be politically correct. I'm just calling this guy on his 🐂💩
I wasn't criticizing your remarks to Mr. Snacks, presuming it was he to whom you were speaking. Rather I was expounding upon them from a personal opinion and perspective as a black female.

The last post I read of Mr. Snacks before choosing to free myself of encountering his posts was that of his claim my board Pseudonym was highly racist.

Let me just say my first reaction was to laugh out loud.
Anthropology claims human DNA is in large percentage related to primates. In other words we evolved from monkeys. Human naked apes.

The racist pejorative would therefore arrive from the mind of Mr. Snacks because his judgement of my Pseudonym indicates Mr. Snacks believes human monkey references, identities, are exclusive descriptions applying solely to black people.

Lack of education is able to be corrected by electing education.

Racism is far more than that. And it is not disguised by the obvious efforts he undertakes to make racist attacks and then backtrack and deny his ignorance to that end when denying his intention.
He has black friends. Classifying friends by race, color, is a divisive segregation afforded closet racists.

I have many friends. Their race is not a factor that qualifies their identity for my calling them such.

While someone who makes racist comments then denied they're racist by identifying members of their friends group by race isn't fooling anyone.

Consider too Mr.Snacks obviously enjoys injecting conflict capsules into a discussion. I. E making remarks that insinuate insult against the faith, individuals. Which besides indicating a juvenile under developed intellect, alsoallows the inference they enjoy hurting people's feelings.

Anyone can claim to know Christ.

How they behave toward others proves whether or not Christ knows them.

I agree with you that he should be banned. Barring that let him serve as an example. Save for the grace of God.....

It's like he has stopped responding but I have two questions for him.
1. What is racist about the name paper monkey
2. Why did he feel the need to even bring up Kwanzaa in the first place?
... Wait. I have a third question
When I said Kwanzaa is a celebration of African heritage and culture and then he popped off a bunch of irrelevant crime statistics,... It's almost as if he's claiming that crime is black culture.
