Thank you sir for your reply. God bless. So you are basically saying every generation should be considering themselves the "FINAL GENERATION" in order to be watching. Correct? I got no problem with that!
I do wonder why the apostles say things that make it seem Jesus could come in their life time. None of the Revelation trumpets vials and seals were unleashed back then. Maybe I just interpret the book of Revelation too literally.[/QUOTE]
“So you are basically saying every generation should be considering themselves the "FINAL GENERATION" in order to be watching. Correct? I got no problem with that!”
Thank you brother for the good spirit and brotherly love . He’s going to return for sure in person at the end of the world
, but Yes , indeed if I could speak to others so directly I would be blessed. I believe the gospel itself teaches us to be vigilant in our own lives personally .
while it’s global in nature some future day , it’s also personal for us through a lifetime and then we all face the end of our flesh every generation should believe no one really can know when he will return but we should live as if we may see him personally tomorrow because life in this world is always so fragile unsure
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said,
The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Luke 17:20-21 KJV
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14 KJV
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
John 18:36-37 KJV
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Hebrews 11:13-16 KJV
after we pass through this world and it’s trials and tribulations we’re going to enter the eternal kingdom the Bible says so much about if we walk by faith and follow the lord into repentance.
Whether we see a Great War that we expect to or not we all have to face the lord when we end upon the earth a
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV
a things like this also are meant to wake us up so well accept the gospel repentance and remission of sins while we live now in the body
“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
Luke 24:45-48 KJV
We need repentance and remission of sins because we have to answer to the lord we can repent now and have our sins remitted.
