O.k., tell me about your dreams and nightmares. O.k., so this is a dreaming thread.

I never have nightmares - like, never at all - but my dreams are usually subpar compared to reality, so I am often mildly relieved when I wake up and find out life is not as crappy as I just dreamed it was.

How can you not have nightmares?!?!

Yeah, it's always nice to wake up from a bad dream.

I rarely dream lately, but just had a dream last night, but forgot it.

In the past, I would get high school nightmares. I would forget to do my essay to pass a class, then wouldn't be able to graduate. This would be a terror. Alarm Bell would ring and would be o.k., not in high school, everything is fine. lol

I find dreams fascinating, there was this guy I used to watched called John Paul Jackson, who said he can interrupt dreams, but not sure how true it was.

I've had nice dreams, ones I wish I didn't have to wake up from, and nightmares, that I was grateful to awake from.

Nice dream:

I was 6, and loved Godzilla (I know, big surprise). I lost my mind whenever there was a Godzilla movie on TV. Back then, there was no on-demand or VCRs, so we had to wait until the local stations deemed it fitting to broadcast something we wanted to see.

Well, not having that control must have produced this dream: I was holding a mini-TV, about the size of a stick of gum, and I could pick and choose whatever Godzilla movie I wanted to watch and play it at will. This was maybe... 1970 or thereabouts.

About 40 years later, that dream came true.

Not so nice dream:

My house rapidly became infested with large roaches. I will say no more, but I was all too glad to wake up from that one.

Dunno. I don't watch horror movies or read horror novels, so maybe my brain just doesn't have the material. Kind of like a blind man trying to write a song about how pretty a rose looks.

Or maybe I'm just not very imaginative.

Or maybe I'm wrong about all of it and I'll have a nightmare tonight.

Godzilla was fun to watch. What was your favorite movie? You like Blue Oyster Cult by chance?

That's a crazy nightmare about roaches!

Lucky you! High School was a nightmare generally speaking. It had it's moments, but it was dreadful overall. I had other things on my mind, than school work.

Yeah, that's the nightmare.

My favorite from Japan was the first, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Destroy All Monsters and Monster Zero are roughly tied for second. And, Kumi Mizuno was soooo hot. Still looks good at ~84!!

Not a 'Cult" fan. My only band from the 70s is the Moody Blues.

By the way... Um... That's not how a forum works.

In fact I'm tempted to make a comment about one of those topics, just because you said not to.

I won't do it though. Partly because I don't care enough about any of those topics to start one, but mostly because I'm certain somebody else will take up the gauntlet.

That does not signify. Supergirl has been known to fly in her sleep.

Maybe it's hereditary. Her cousin Superman has also been known to fly in his sleep.

That's foggy.

Maybe chicken salad or pork BBQ?
