My father was a serious Bible student that focused on prophecy. He influenced a rebellious me from ages 13 to 20 years of age say 1973 to 1980. Proverbial wisdom and his prophetic lessons were always fascinating.
Since 2020 so many prophetic events he mentioned have come true I had no choice but to reopen the subject 2 years ago. Well I became Saved along the way thank the good Lord ! Hopefully he is watching from above as many of his interpretations of events fall so close to accuracy.
Wow, deeper study revealed how shockingly true and comprehensive Bible predictions are. Truly a blessing to be on this earth to experience God's plan. And I have never experienced such security and excitement in my life knowing that Christ Jesus died for my sins. Thank you Lord.

Amen James! Glad you got saved and connecting here. These are interesting times. We are a privileged generation to see fulfillment of prophecy. It sounds like you were very blessed to have such a good Dad. I'm sure he would be very happy to know you continue that legacy.

Thank you so much for that great intro. I too find the study of prophecy exciting. I've been a Christian for a long time, but only now am I starting to deeply dig into Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation.

Thank you oyster67. Current events as they relate to God's predictions are a real eye opener. Great timing in opening the prophetic subject. I must confess to envying your position of becoming a Believer many years ago and experiencing/living the wonderful believer's life and having more Biblical knowledge and intimacy. My father respected the interpretations of Dr. Scofield and Clarence Larkin, men before his time that made great dedications in dividing the word. He left me with a copy of Larkin's Dispensational Truth 1920, before Israel became a nation. It is interesting to read Mr. Larkin's discussions about Israel appearing to become a nation soon, actually happening only 3 decades later. And other predictions he interpreted before 1920 read like an exact duplicate of this world's present state of condition. Maybe I can post an image of a page from his 1920 book on this post. Posting an image here may be hit or miss, let me try. Looking forward to engaging with you in the near future. I appreciate your welcoming.
