This is my grown up Christmas list

I'm pretty sure by now most everyone here has heard this song where the singer is going over a list of things that as an adult they'd love to see happen... example:

So here's my lifelong wish
My grown up Christmas list
Not for myself but for a world in need..

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end, no
This is my grown up Christmas list...



Sounds like a pretty good list to me. It got me thinking... what are a few things I'd like to see happen ..or in other words what would be on my "Grown up Christmas list "?

1. I'd love to see some of my lost loved ones (family and friends) saved.
2. I'd love to see some of my loved ones treated more appreciated by their spouses .
3. I'd love to see my friends that have prayed for a spouse, find themselves in a happy loving relationship.
4. I'd love to accomplish some goals that have been on my list a few years.
5. I want a pug ..lol

Probably the first item is the most important, after all its why we even have Christmas, because we are given a Saviour.

I can identify with the first 4.

I like those.

* A few minor medical issues resolved (eczema for one)
* Salvation for family, friends
* America's restoration

why are you making a list again?

When I make lists I cross items off one by one when they are achieved and then recycle it, and the. print out or write another another updated list.

It never ends...the lists. But its often down to me to work with God to make it all happen. People say petitions dont work, but there is evidence when presented with a long list of names that God knows each and every one on it. (half the OT is a long list of names)

also tip keep you lists short and manageable. Maybe just stick to under ten items if you can. Its quicker.

write down the names of who you want saved, cos I would go petitioning God for just SOME of my friends to be saved and be really vague about it. I would go,

You can either cross them off or cross a line through or higlight and tick it doesnt matter as long as they on the list.

Well, I am a weirdo, known to be affectionate, though not a dancer --- not that I'm completely closed to changing that. Although, I am also 20 years your senior. Yuck!

Oops... there I go again, getting so deep into my identification as a human to participate on this site, that I forgot I'm really about 60,000,000 years old and 400' tall.
