This is my 1st day here and I am excited to be on a Christian group. My wife went to be with Jesus on August 11th and of course it isn't the same without her being with me. We were married 41 years. Thank you for caring enough to read this. God bless you. I will chat again....

That's got to be extremely tough. Do you have local friends at church or nearby? I hope we can lift your spirit. Don't hesitate to ask for prayer. I just did.

Yikes. Dude, I'm sorry. I experienced that same kind of loss in April of 2009. Believe me, I get it.

Hi Garlin, nice the Lord led you to CC to stay connected with other believers. While we miss our loved ones as they depart, we know they want us to be happy, esp since we know they are in glory🙌 God bless and keep you and may the Comforter bless you with encouraging friends, like from here😃 'The joy of the Lord is our strength'

I cannot imagine the pain.:( I have never been married. I hope I never lose my little Amelia (cat.)
