True, but all commercial AG relies on NPK.
MUCH better would be the smaller farms fed with glacial water, but hydroelectric dams did away with that. Consolidated power did away with the old wood stoves and fireplaces to keep warm. Wood ash was spread on the gardens. Those trees provided more minerals than NPK. So do sea weed/ vegetables. Coastal gardens should make use of that. It's free for the collecting.

The Western world outsourced a lot of manufacturing to China and Japan. Detroit is what you get when there is no plan to replace dying industries. There are more cars than ever, just not made in Detroit. Other cities that once had heavy industries are suffering also.
The real problem of the world is spiritual. As people turn away from God, He leaves them to their own ways. It seems right to them, but it's the broad road to destruction for them. Christians should be salt, a preservative, and light, bringing truth and conviction to the lost. It's obvious that the church in the so-called Christian nations have failed to be either salt or light. Society reflects this failure.
In Australia, a man has lost his job because he attends a church that rejects homosexuality and says so. It was a high profile position in the sports world. At the same time, a town in Victoria erected a large rainbow to celebrate the wickedness of the LBGTQI crowd. I'm 71. I would hate to be growing up in this world.

Ask the people of Sri Lanka how easy it is to go organic. They have a famine because crops failed because of a failed experiment with alternative farming methods.

we have a mobile dentist clinic that stays at school for a few months.
There are also mobile libraries.
I always thought that heavy tonnage vehicles consumed more gas and were inefficient, while smaller cc vehicles were better suited in terms of transportation. I dont understand the huge double decker busses travelling round with hardly any passengers in them every hour or so, when there could have been smaller buses or even half mini vans taking passengers every five or ten minutes.

There are many electric car owners here in Spain, at least where I live. Gas stations are equipped with stand up chargers, and many apartment parking areas and underground high rise parking also have chargin areas.
Since I cannot drive anymore, I kind of have a pet peeve with them. Walking eerywhere, I find the elctric vehicles too quite to be heard far away, and they do surpise me when I cross a street at tmes. I try not to stop cars whenever I cross streets but I do not hear the electric ones.. It is not such a disadvantage, but if they do not see, and I do not hear them, there ccould result a trffic statistic.

I saw this thread title and immediately thought of 'ScaleXtric' cars... I suspect that wasn't the OP's intent.
My brother sold a few things and bought a Tesla earlier this year. He's very happy with it (and enjoys the ability to tromp anything else in a friendly drag off the line). He lives where climate, infrastructure, and typical travel distances make an electric vehicle feasible. If I moved to that area I might consider the same, but I still prefer driving a taller vehicle, so I'd probably choose a Rivian or something like that. (A hard No to the Tesla truck, thanks all the same).

our son has a Prius (hybrid). his catalytic converter was stolen a few weeks ago. i think this theft is becoming common. when they say rare earth materials are needed for the construction of EV batteries, they're not just whistlin' Dixie.
39 people were injured in an apartment building fire a couple of weeks ago in Manhattan. the cause was a battery in an e-bike.
i'm not opposed to EVs, but i do think some further work needs to be done before they're really a viable option.
