The New York Post is tabloid journalism. I don't know if the Enquirer is still around but it is of that ilk. The news they present is worded in such a way as to give a very distorted perception. It is like the mirrors in a carnival funhouse, the image you see is distorted.
You are right that the mass murderers won't admit that they used the weather to kill a bunch of Texans last year with the freeze gun or whatever they call it. However, the information has been available for many years. Ben Livingston is featured in this report. I think you'll find it informative. The beast system has many weapons available that were meant to kill Jesus before His time. I can't prove it, but the storm He rebuked was sent by some kind of technology or powers Satan has IMHO. IT'S JUST an opinion since the Bible doesn't say how the intense storm caught these fishermen off guard. .
Going back to the book of Job, Satan killed Job's children and property all at once. He did so with fire from the sky and leveled the home where all of Job's grown children were eating. He hit it on all four sides with a blast of wind. I was reminded of this since this chapter was part of my morning and evening devotions today. II Corinthians 2:11 was impressed upon me earlier.

There was an article that mentioned the collapse of the Soviet Union and according to that source the claim was 'the news reports preceding the Soviet Unions collapse were all suspect' . Is it possible the attacks on the media here in the U.S. which seem to have been ratcheted up a notch or 1000 in recent years has put us on a course of disaster?
I will listen to MSNBC so I know what they are saying. But the people who tell you the truth at this moment are the following:
Bannon's Warroom -- However, he has a very clear agenda to orchestrate a Red wave this Fall. He agrees 100% with that.
Project Veritas -- However, this outfit has a very clear agenda to expose corruption.
WION and Epoch Times both have their agendas, but neither of them are interested in promoting Biden's narrative, so you get a much more balanced and accurate view of what is going on when it is something that the Biden regime is spinning.
FOX news has a clear agenda to expose crime in the US and thus make Democratic governments look bad and hypocritical.
Tucker Carlson is very concerned with a moral and cultural decline in the country.
Every single news outlet has an agenda, anyone who denies that is deceiving themselves.
