I think it is important to understand the crime she is accusing Trump of committing. When applying for loans with banks he valued his real estate holdings at a higher valuation than she would have. imagine someone applies for a job and says "they think they would be perfect for the position"! Really, perfect?

And these poor banks, they are so trusting when making these multi million dollar loans.

We are talking about loans made prior to him becoming President. Also, it is irrelevant whether or not he paid the loans off. No the crime is that he never should have been allowed to borrow the money in the first place.
